What a great time! They throw the dinner rolls for you to catch, keep coming around with extra aids to try and giant drinks! By the time our meals came we were full! The wait staff was a lot of fun, super friendly and helpful. The decor is all antique with a western flare. Will definitely go back!

The food was great. The atmosphere was fun. Our kids loved it! All the staff was friendly and we had a wonderful time. I highly recommend stopping here if you are close by. But get in line early.

Great place to eat. Go in hungry. Leave completely stuffed. Get more food for less money. Be prepared to catch a hot and fluffy roll. Please don't pass this place up. You will be making a Hugh mistake.

A very unique experience. The food was above average, a bit like cracker barrel. What really takes it up a notch is the servers constantly bringing food around. Also, who could forget the rolls flying through the air! Make sure to try the cold chunky applesauce. Maybe not the best name but excellent nonetheless. we were able to get a table fast even though they were busy. I would imagine during the crazy summer season that would be a different story. Make sure to take that into account. There is a great atmosphere that permeates this place. All the servers we dealt with were hospitable and funny. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to the beach.

Don't come to Lambert's unless you are hungryBecause when you leave there is no way you will even want to think about food again!! After you are seated food starts coming almost before you finish ordering. Love the fried okra, thrown rolls, beans and all the extra food that wasn't even ordered. This is a place not to miss. They even have reasonable prices.

Absolutely the best. The throwed rolls was a real pleasure. More food than any one person could possibly eat. The waitress was super. The entire staff was very courteous and went above and beyond to make our visit special. This was my first time but it won't be my last.

Lambert's deserves a 5 :) every food is just amazing. Cozy environment and entertaining staffs. I love the decorations and of course the thrown rolls/bread. Perfect! You gotta be prepared eating here coz you'll end with a big happy tummy.

Their bread rolls are the very best. Great service. It is a unique experience that is worth the drive. I highly recommend. I am not very fond of southern food but I still liked it. They will give you the largest food portions ever.

The atmosphere is fun. If you like good southern food, this is the place to go. It is delicious and the portions are big. Catching hot rolls is a blast, especially if you have some distance. Kids love watching and participating! The only thing is the wait time. There is usually a line with waits between 30 minutes to an hour and half. The staff is friendly and love to joke around with the customers.

The food is delicious and the Cafe has great atmosphere. Rolls being thrown around. The apple butter for the rolls is amazing. Lots of different pass-around sides are served. The food is not very very expensive given the shear quantity of food you get plus the pass-around sides. The destination is popular so expect wait times during peak hours.

Absolutely worth the wait. Huge portions of delicious food in a unique atmosphere. A nice break from the abundance of seafood options available nearby.

Great food, you CAN'T leave here not stuffed! They had the best shrimp I've ever tasted! My husband got the pot roast and my daughter got the chicken pot pie, both were delicious!! Love the apple butter for the rolls, my husband liked the molasses. The sides they bring around are good, fried okra, macaroni and tomatos, fried potatoes and onions, and black eyes peas. We went yesterday and are going back tomorrow! Huge place, so if it looks packed, it probably is, but they've got room!! Fun catching the rolls!

We had a huge party and stopped on our way out of town. It was delicious! Next time we'll eat here earlier in our trip so we can go back to take naps after getting so full! :) Really good and the kids loved it, especially the roll throwing!

    June 11, 2016. Family of 6 (2 Adults and 4 kids)

Stopped here for lunch. A rather big detour off I-10 but since I have been to the other 2 locations in Missouri, I wanted to take the kids to this one since we were passing relatively close by.

The wait was 2 hours to be seated.
The food was good and the family had a great time, but the wait made a long travel day even longer.

Great place for a family, friendly atmosphere. There were 3 adults and 5 kids under the age of 12 in our party and everyone of us walked out stuffed and with leftovers. The entire meal including drinks and tax was $100.00. Great service and the kids loved the "throwed rolls". We arrived when they opened at 10:30 and walked right in to get a table. Will definitely eat here again if/when I am back down to Gulf Shores.
