My partner and I have attended this church for several months. They did not know we were a couple. We wanted our wedding ceremony here and were denied. Everyone stopped talking to both of us. Several members even told us we were going to hell.

This is not a church of love; it is a place of hypocrisy and hate.

The first time I stepped onto Lakewood's campus I found it to be a warm welcoming and loving community. Seven or so years later, I have found that their love has own grown, both for God and people in their community, across the nation and around the globe.
