  Worst maintenance on a golf course I've ever seen. Beautiful layout and it could be a great course but the landscaping was not maintained, the greens were covered with weeds and sand and debris covered the cart paths. Might be playable in a year if they get their act together.

  Played Lake Wales CC Saturday May 20, 2017, the best part of the day was my wife, Kandelyn rode around with me. Right off you could see it was a Donald Ross design, traps everywhere around the greens and in the fairways. That wasn't so bad, but they all lacked sand, mostly dirt some had a mixture of sand and gravel, I know I spent a lot of time at the beach that day, but the traps also lacked any attention being done to them, grass is growing down into the trap. The fairways were lacking that substance called grass. I know there is a drought going on, and I wouldn't have minded if it were brown, but so much of the fairway didn't even have that just brown sand and weeds. When it's dry like it is, you can over look terrible fairways if the greens are decent, but they weren't; huge patches of dirt covered with greed colored furtilizer and weeds. The most obvious problemno one is doing any maintenance of any kind. It's as if the managers want out from under it and are looking to sell it. It's too bad because it is a nice track. I gave it two stars, one because my wife went with me, the other because the bartender was cute and tried.

  Used to be one of the nicest old courses. Played several state tournaments there. courtsde conditions today were horrible. I guess for $29 that is all one could expect. Greens were terrible, fairways likewise, but bunkers were very good. Too bad, could be a fun course. Hope they get it back to the previouse condition from years ago.
