  This is a beautiful, underused park in DFS with picnic tables and shelters, bathrooms, small swimming beach and even a boat ramp. I've never been there when it was busy. Usually either no one or just a car or two. Tall pines provide shade and keep it cool.

  I take by kayak out on this small lake. Just big enough for small boats.
