The Lake Country Inn is an amazing, affordable, and beautiful place to stay if you ever take a trip to the New Buffalo area. The rooms are gorgeous, comfortable, and homey. There is also a public space where you can play games, watch a movie, or just hang out with your family and friends. A quick walk away from beautiful Lake Michigan and fun shopping! The dining in New Buffalo is also quite exquisite. So if you are ever curious to know about New Buffalo and need a nice place to stay the Lake Country Inn is the place for you!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here! The owners are very personable and involved, which makes it feel very homey. On top of that the location is amazing. Being able to walk to the beach, and near the downtown scene is the best of both worlds. After all was said and done, it definitely was a reasonable price for the experience that it offers!

Clean, comfortable and a 5 minute walk to the water. Staff is polite and you're free to enjoy your stay as if you had your own home by the water

This place is perfect. Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood the staff was nice and helpful and the bed was off the charts comfortable. All that said, it was our first time in New Buffalo and when we arrived a staff member gave us a card with the backdoor code to enter later that night. When we returned at 10:15 PM the door was left unlocked. There is no one on duty after 8PM and we were the only ones in the place so needless to say we didn't get any sleep at all until the sun came up the next morning. Security is always our number one concern when we travel.

Extremely wonderful bedrooms, very inviting, clean and unique. The Tower Suite specifically was amazing and the bed was the single comfiest bed I have experienced. The fireplace and heat from the vents were silent, very quiet and peaceful. The large windows are nice, and there is a mounted smart TV on the wall with all the hookups you need to Chrome cast or hookup a laptop to stream your favorite shows. There is a mini fridge / freezer in the room, and the kitchen downstairs has a microwave and plates for leftovers. Everything about the Lake Country Inn is well cared for and the interior design is very thoughtful. It truly is like being in a home away from home. Across the street is an Italian restaurant that provided the most authentic Italian dinner experience I have had since I returned from Italy. I highly recommend anyone that wants a peaceful getaway and a comfortable, quality experience in a homely atmosphere. The owner and attendant are very sweet and nice, and everything is within walking distance, including downtown, the nearest beach and Oink's ice cream. We definitely plan on returning!

Beautiful.My wife and I looked for a quiet yet cozy spot for our anniversary and found the best place we have been at in a long time. The owners put a lot of work and detail to each room to make sure every guest is satisfied. Lake Country Inn is a great place to stay not just for the atmosphere and location to everything in New Buffalo but because of the care and concern Mark and Hope give to each guest. My top pick!!!
