I was delighted when they came out within an hour to fix my a/c. However they were not able to fix it that day and after 5 WEEKS of calling and waiting for them to come back I called someone else. Very poor management!

Same experience as the one star rating when it comes to service calls. Beware, you may get quoted an hourly rate, but its been our experience two technicians are sent so its double..also experienced bullying, in my opinion, when I called to dispute charges. Was told if I didn't pay bill she would send me another for even more. As far as a new install, that was no problem, good job.

I can not say enough good things about this company. I called them to get a quote for a replacement furnace and air conditioner. I called 5 local companies, and Lake contracting came in at the lowest bid. Typically this would scare me, but I had heard good things about them from friends. They also checked on rebates for us and got us the best deal with the rebates from our gas company. We were able to get an efficient unit relatively cheap. I also talked with one of the owners about replacing the thermostat with an Ecobee3 (wi-fi enabled thermostat) because my gas company also had a rebate on those as well. He said the techs had never done this before, but they were willing to learn. Sure enough, installation went smoothly, furnace, A/C, and thermostat are working great, and best of all the final bill was slightly below estimate. I would recommend Lake Contracting to anyone. I will definitely be using them in the future.

We called this company to come out and fix a water leak at our cabin. We dug the hole down to the leak. 2 men came to get the water out and used OUR equipment to suck out the water, They fixed the leak and then we said we would fill in the hole. The men were there 1 hour and 15 minutes. We were charged $262.26. Then we called and we were told we had to pay for both guys and a third guy who came to relieve one of the other workers. They had us down for 2 1/2 hours. They included travel time. This is ridiculous!
