Food was good but not great. Nice location. Coffee after dinner, no refill. Had to ask for cream. Felt like a diner.

Unbelievable French Bistro in the heart of Winchester. Chef is warm and accommodating. Certainly worth the 4 hour drive from Pennsylvania. We will be back!!

We were there for lunch. Lovely experience ! French Onion soup to write home about. The Chocolate Mousse is rich and dark. Beautiful presentation, delicious food, intimate ambiance, and a personable owner who cares about his diners experience. My residence is almost an hour away, but I will make the trip again and again because this little gold mine is worth it. My compliments to the chef !

Love this restaurant! We eat out quite often. The owner is a great guy. He visited with us before and after our meal and made it a great time. The food is wonderful. We will be back.

Nice family owned restaurant with excellent food. The owner Fredrich is an awesome person and takes pride in his restaurant and the food he prepares for his quests. Very nice quiet atmosphere and is perfect for a romantic dinner with someone special. Dinning area is very cozy and relaxing. Located right downtown by the historic walking mall.

Stopped in for lunch on a rare Friday off with my wife. She had the scallops with the blue cheese, I had the Muscles with the garlic white wine/butter reduction, both were amazing, the scallops were the perfect toasted marshmallow consistency crispy outside and almost creamy inside. The muscles were well cooked, but it was the broth that shined, I asked for extra bread to sop up the, in my opinion best part of the dish. The waitress was kind and attentive and the owner/chef was awesome, a wait and see kind of guy, we didn't know he was the owner till he asked how our meal was after, soo nice and amazing. I will be back a lot!

I gave one star for inconvenience because it was closed when the info on google said it should be open. I drove an hour to try them out and it was disapointing (Sun 1:56pm)

A wonderful place, with wonderful food! It's like being in some small town somewhere in France. The owner Frederic Boukaia is very friendly, and a joy to talk with. I plan to return many, many times!

Simple and delicious french inspired food, made and served by the owner. The setting is quaint if a little quiet, but you'll always be warmly received and treated as though you come in every other day.

I was very disappointed to learn that a recently-expired gift certificate would not be honored at the full face amount. I was told that the restaurant would provide 50% credit, which did not seem reasonable given that the gift certificate was issued within the last 9 months and only expired 3 months prior. I recognize it was my error but most establishments will provide some leeway on an expiration date, particularly as we are repeat guests who live out of town. Honestly, I would be hard-pressed to visit La Nicoise Café again. There are too many other good options in Winchester.

We stopped here on our way to Pennsylvania. It was superb - a little taste of France. It was the best French food, outside of France, that I have had. Take the time to stop.

My wife and I stopped here while passing through Winchester. We were both very happy that we did. The meal was spectacular. From a wonderful French onion soup to an excellent grilled salmon to a delicious apple tart. Eveything was so good.
