  Love the primative cabins. Wood cook stove. Gas lanterns on ceiling and walls. Out door bathroom. West Virginia's best native trout fishing. Cool, comfortable and affordable. Long scenic drive to the cabins on gravel road. Many hiking trails of varying difficulties. A nice viewing deck for a wonderful little waterfall.

  The park is very clean with a lot to do from camping to hiking trails and much more. The Rangers are very knowledgeable, helpful , and very polite. While our visit there we had a Ranger come check on us to make sure we were okay after his shift was over. That impressed us so very much to think that a Ranger would come up and check on us after his shift. If I could remember the Ranger's name I would put him in for an commendation.

  This is truly one of the most beautiful places you can visit on this planet. The untouched forests and crystal clear steams in Kumbrabow are a site that you won't believe until you see it with your own eyes!

  Awesome cabin, beautiful scenery! Stayed in cabin #2 in Fall '15. Great location on roaring stream, with no electricity or indoor plumbing. Warm glow of gas lighting and fireplace made this stay a wonderful experience! Returning for longer stay in Spring '16. Friendly staff. Your GPS may not be the best way into park, be advised!
