We are a small family farm approximately 10 miles East of Chetek, Wisconsin. We are near Potato Lake, and the intersection of County Highways D and F. This farm has been in our family for over 30 years, and was converted from dairy to beef in 2003. We have about 75 cattle, with 28 cows, one bull, 20 yearlings and a growing number of calves.

We raise a mix of Red Angus, Black Angus and Charolais crossbreeds and are gradually converting our herd to Red Angus, beginning with the purebred Red Angus bull (Rocky) from Hidden Creek Farms in 2009 and another bull (Sonny) from Oak Ridge Farms in 2011.

Our cattle are pasture-raised, with plenty of room to roam, and are fed grass and hay. This results in a tastier, healthier beef product – in fact, in 2008, our beef was tested by the University of Wisconsin for fat content, and our samples were between 88% and 92% lean.

Our animals receive no hormones or routine antibiotics. If an animal needs to receive antibiotics because of an illness or injury, it is removed from our program.

End of summer already!!?? Our beef will be going in for processing at the end of October and beginning of November.
Delivery dates to Minneapolis metro and Milwaukee will be posted soon!

This year we are trying a new processor, so we are excited to be moving towards a small family processor that is USDA inspected for resale.

News from the farm. We are now members of the Wisconsin Grass-fed Beef Cooperative. What does this mean?
We will follow the same grass fed beef requirements sold through the Cooperative.

Any extra animals will be sold to the cooperative and sold in stores throughout the region. Look for the Wisconsin Meadows label!

The winter chill is finally here! We have beef scheduled to go in at end of February and will be ready for delivery or pick up in early March.
