Our Passion

Our kids were born in the U.S., but they really like the snacks and drinks from Japan and S. Korea. We were able to make the biennial trip to Asia when they were young, but now it is harder and harder. We had once thought about opening a small mom and pop konbini, convenience store, in the style of a store in Japan or Korea, but the start up cost was impractical. All the research was not wasted though as our relationships with the Japanese and Korean food distributors led to the development of this site. We hope to open a physical store someday, but for now we can share our favorite snacks and products with you through this website.
