Lower price when it's cold, forest trails that are a mile or two long, mounds are kind of neat. Restrooms available at most parking spots

Lots of history there. It's amazing what those primitive Native Americans could do!

My family comes here often during the summer. It has a great swimming/picnic area. We enjoy the trails and there are plenty of events to enjoy on the weekends as well. Overall a wonderful place for anyone!

I went on field trips when I was in elementary school here and loved it. Some of the indoor displays have changed since then, but it's still a great place to visit. It's super neat learning about the mounds. It's great for a day visit, they also have camp grounds. I'd recommend going on a day where the weather is nice due to all the walking. I plan on going back.
