I used to ride at a private trainers house for 2 1/2 years and we did the same things everyday and were not progressing, when I joined knoll I realized what I had missed out on, Amazing Trainers and even more amazing horses. Definitely Request this place 100%
Andrea & Krissy are 😻 They both are amazing teachers who just make your time riding so fun. They know what they're doing ... I've rode at many places before but nothing like knoll. My last barn I was months just trotting, came to knoll and learned the proper techniques & only a month in I'm cantering cavalettis & only getting better! Def recommend this barn to anyone wanting to learn how to ride the RIGHT way. 🐎😊❤️
I love riding here! Andrea is amazing, she makes riding fun and is truly a caring, kind, and competent instructor. I look forward to each lesson every week! She made getting back into riding enjoyable for me, truly a wonderful place with wonderful staff!
Knoll Farm is a fantastic farm. Everyone there is friendly and welcoming. The school horses are incredible and all very sweet.
I began riding at Knoll Farm again after a 20 year hiatus. The barns and horses are really clean and well maintained. My instructor is Andrea Mercier. She's great. She focuses on keeping me safe while at the same time letting me have fun. She's genuinely happy when I ride well and when I show improvement. She carefully chooses horses for me to ride that challenge me to do better, but that im safe on. Everyone who works at the stable has been friendly and professional from the grooms to the advanced instructors. It's a great place to learn to ride or to hone your skills.
We have been nothing but thoroughly impressed with Knoll Farm as a whole! Their professionalism, superior horses, pristine facilities and knowledgeable staff far exceeds any barn we've rode at in the past. The warm environment and friendly faces at Knoll Farm give you the truest sense of having a "barn family!"
Knoll Farm is the most underrated Equestrian Center on Long Island!! The facilities are amazing on over 17 acres with 3 HUGE outdoor arenas (one with a full jump course), outdoor dressage arena, grass riding field and large indoor arena. My horses are turned out in their own private grass paddock and Linda, the barn manager is incredible. I always know my horses are in the best hands. Contrary to what people believe, the farm is NOT getting sold and developed. It really is it's own little oasis on Long Island. I have owned horses on Long Island for 13 years and have never been happier at a boarding facility. The trainers are also extremely experienced and knowledgable. Whether you ride equitation, hunters, jumpers or dressage, Knoll has the right trainer for you. Knoll has riders who just ride for pleasure as well as "A" circuit competitors. I can't recommend Knoll Farm enough. It is a wonderful barn to ride, board and train at.
