Kingdom Builder’s Bible Ministries

“He sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.” - Luke 9:2

Kingdom Builder’s Bible Ministries is established on the foundation that Jesus is the Christ, Son of the living God! Everyone brought into the kingdom of heaven by new birth has the responsibility to lift up the name of Jesus and reach out to others, and thus they are inducted into the kingdom building plan of God! We believe everyone -- regardless of age, culture, creed, color, Jew or gentile -- that is purchased by the blood of Jesus is a child of God and must use his/her spiritual gift(s) and talent(s) and has the privilege to be on the kingdom building team of the body of Christ (Luke 14:15-24)!

Many who have been hurt and are brokenhearted, misused, and abused need to understand that Jesus loves you and came to save you, mend you and clean you up, and use you so that you can operate in your God given purpose because you are valuable to the Kingdom building plan of God! So in love, we don’t care where you have been -- all of us have been somewhere else -- but we do care where you are now and where you’re going and we can do it together in love and fellowship ministering to one another, as we fulfill God’s purpose for our lives!

Kingdom Builders is a place of solace and refuge, a place of instruction to reach the lost and help them learn how to live this life we have been given (servants & soldiers). It is a place of fellowship, a place of learning, a place of healing and deliverance, and a place of celebration, worship, and praise where the name of Jesus can be lifted up and magnified together so that the hope of this world, our risen Christ can be seen in us!

We are Kingdom Builders purposely telling everybody that there is somebody who can save anybody, therefore we preach, teach, live, and operate in the Kingdom Building Principles of King Jesus, who is the Christ.

What we believe

Love is the key element of this life we have been given for the God of creation is love (John 3:16; Romans 5:8; I John 4:7-11). Although there is only one God -- The Triune God -- we believe that in the unity of the Godhead there are three eternal and coequal persons: the Father (the Creator), the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Mark 12:29; Matthew 3:16-17 and 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14).

We believe that Jesus Christ is the pre-existent and eternal Son of God who became man in order to reveal God and redeem mankind. We believe He was supernaturally conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. In His person, we believe the Lord Jesus combined full and undiminished deity with true and perfect humanity to become the only God-man. We believe Christ died on the cross as a substitute for sinful man, was buried, resurrected bodily from the grave, and ascended into heaven where He intercedes on the behalf of saints, and someday will come again for His own (John 1:18 and 8:58; Matthew 1:23; Colossians 1:15-18; I Timothy1:15 and 3:16).

We believe the Holy Spirit is the active Person of the Godhead; we believe that the Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity, fully equal with God the Father and God the Son. Although He is of the exact same essence, we believe He is a personality distinct from the other members of the Godhead. The Holy Spirit, we believe, has an active ministry to the world in general which includes the restraining of evil, convicting of sin and the unsaved; bestowing God's goodness on all of mankind who accept the Son as Lord. We also believe He has a ministry to every Christian that consists of regenerating, sealing, indwelling and teaching, and baptizing into the Body of Christ, along with the giving of spiritual gifts. Other ministries provided to obedient Christians include edifying, assuring, teaching, guiding, and comforting (Acts 1:8; John 14:15-18, 26; John 16:7-15; Titus 3:5-6; Ephesians 1:13, 3:20, and 5:18; 1 Corinthians 6:19, 12:13; Romans 8:14, 16).

We believe that sin is anything contrary to the character of God. Every man, we believe, is alienated from God from birth because of his depraved nature as well as personal acts of sin. We believe that each person born into the world is separated from God and completely incapable of meriting salvation and avoiding the judgment of God. The sin nature, we believe, is never eradicated, even for those who are born into the family of God, but remains until the end of this life on planet earth.

However, we believe God has made provision for forgiveness of sin through the blood of Jesus Christ and that we can live victoriously through the power of the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit, man can be forgiven for sin(s) but there are consequences (Romans 3:10-12, 23, 6:23; I John 1:8-10; Galatians 5:16-21).

We believe everyone born into this world is not a child of God but has the opportunity to become a child of God through saving grace, salvation (the new birth) and thus we are saved from the penalty of sin, saved from the power of sin, and ultimately saved from the very presence of sin, all done by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9) in Christ Jesus! We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God in a state of innocence. Through deliberate disobedience we believe man fell from his sinless state and as a consequence lost his fellowship with God and became subject to spiritual and physical death. We believe that through Adam's transgressions, the entire human race has inherited a corrupt nature that is essentially evil and unable to please God (Genesis 1:26-27, 3:24; Romans 5:12; Ephesians 2:1-3; John 3:3-7; Romans 10:9-10, 13; Ephesians 2:8-9; 2 Corinthians 1:9-10).

We believe the Bible is the inerrant word of God, our basic instruction before leaving earth! We believe that the books of the Old and New Testament, comprising the Holy Bible, are the inspired Word of God. We believe that the Holy Spirit instructed and supervised the writers of the Scriptures in what they wrote so that, using their own peculiar personalities, the very words recorded in the original manuscripts are the true revelation of God.

We believe the Bible not only contains the Word of God but actually is God's Word and therefore is the complete and final authority for belief and behavior. We believe that this inspiration extends equally and fully to all parts of Scripture: historically, poetically, doctrinally, and prophetically (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21; I Corinthians 2:13; John 17:17; Matthew 24:35).

We believe the Church is established and founded by Jesus through His death, burial, and resurrection based upon the statement made by Peter, “You are the Christ, Son of the living God” (Matthew 16:16). Everyone who accepts Jesus as Lord and Savior is regenerated into His body, the church. The church is the people saved by grace (Ephesians 2:8-9) brought into union with each other, forming what we know as the bride of Christ, not a building (Matthew 16:18; Matthew 21:42; Colossians 1:24)

We believe in Spiritual Gifts, given by the Holy Spirit as He chooses, to individuals who have experienced the new birth for the edifying of the body of Christ, the church. Each gift is necessary and each person with these gifts is a vital part of God’s plan for His church (Romans 12:4-8; 1 Corinthians 12:1-14).

We believe in walking in the Spirit, as God’s representatives producing much fruit, walking properly according to the word of God (Galatians 5:16, 22-23; Ephesians 5:2, 8; Colossians 1:10).

We believe in evangelism, following the Great Commission of the church. This gives everyone to participate in God’s plan to multiply the ministry of His church, and we are told by Jesus to “Go” with the ministry of reconciliation. (Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 16:15-18; Acts 1:8;
2 Corinthians 5:18-20)

We believe there is an adversary, Satan (the fallen angel Lucifer) who once occupied a heavenly position, and who is already defeated by the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus the Christ but who is working every moment to destroy God’s perfect plan and destroy God’s prize creation --mankind --through deception and trickery (Genesis 3:1-5, 14; Job 1:6-12; Ezekiel 14:12-15; Revelation 12:9; 2 Corinthians 11:14; 1 Peter 5:8; Revelation 20:1-3).

We believe that Heaven and Hell are real places in eternity! Heaven is a place in the presence of God, designed for those who have died looking to the promise of the Redeemer and those who have professed faith in Jesus Christ along with the angelic host. Hell is a prepared place for Satan, his followers, and all those not accepting Jesus as the Christ, absent from the love of God (Isaiah 66:1; John 14:1-6; Revelation 19:1-4; Matthew 18:9; Luke 16:19-31; Revelation 20:11-15).

We believe water Baptism is the act of following Jesus’ example in full water emersion which identifies an individual with Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection from the grave, and that now that individual belongs to the family of God. Baptism is not a condition of salvation, as believing by faith is, but is the act of obedience to one of the two ordinances of the Church, the other being the Lord’s Supper. Baptism is the sign to an unbelieving world that declares, “I identify with Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection, now belong to Him.” The Lord’s Supper is remembering Jesus’ broken body and shed blood on Calvary. Jesus instituted both ordinances before His death and the Lord’s Supper must be celebrated often in remembrance of Him until He returns to reclaim His church (Matthew 3:13-17; Matthew 28:19; Acts 8:36-38; Matthew 26:26-30; 1 Corinthians 11:23-25).

We believe you must have faith which believes God’s promises for that which is unseen, for if you have the faith, God definitely has the power, and you must believe it to be so. If He said it then believe it (Hebrews 11:1, 6; Habakkuk 2:4; 2 Corinthians 5:7; Romans 10:8; James 5:15; Matthew 17:20; Ephesians 6:16). We believe faith without works is not of God, for when believers work in God’s plan, as man was created to work both physically and spiritually, and then we are actually “living in and on the promises of God.” Works will not save an individual but will prove obedience to the Great Commission (Genesis 2:15; Nehemiah 4:6; Matthew 10:10; Matthew 28: 18-20; John 9:4; James 1:25, 2; 26).

We believe you must faithfully exercise the privilege of prayer, which is the way God enables believers to commune with God in the name of Jesus. One of the most powerful tools God has given us is the ability to pray for others (2 Chronicles 7:14; 1 Thessalonians 5:17; Luke 18:1; John 14:14; John 17; Ephesians 6:18; James 5:16; Philippians 4:6).

We believe it is a privilege to give, and we do so in reverence, respect and obedience to what God has given to us. It is impossible to give back sufficiently to the One who gave us life and bought us into His family by the blood of His Son Jesus, but we are charged to give with a pure heart. We own nothing, but as good stewards of what God has entrusted to us, we are to give to support His plan through the tithe (which does not belong to us), to support His cause (His church), and to support His people (other believers) through outreach offerings. God holds us accountable for what He has given to us: time, talent, and wealth, as well as for the attitude by which we give (Exodus 35:29; Leviticus 2:12; Proverbs 19:17; Malachi 3:10; Matthew 5:23; Matthew 19:21; Matthew 25:35-40; 2 Corinthians 9:7; Ephesians 5:20).
