Loved the sunset! It's about a 25-30 minute drive in from the 29 Palms Park entry. Get there 45 minutes early for a good spot. Bring a sweatshirt if it's early spring. It gets chilly fast.

Great sunset 🌅 view! You can see Coachella valley. Bring a warm blanket to wrap yourself in and take in the majestic sunset. Once the sunset, around 7:20pm in April, you can see the golden glow for another 40 minutes. You can see the orange and yellow sky and mesmerize in earths beauty. Bring hot chocolate to sip and daydream about being human at Joshua tree

It was a beautiful experience. It's one of the most beautiful views and sunsets. Do arrive early because there are a lot of people and parking gets full. We definitely loved it and highly recommend it.

One of if not the best view in the park certainly in the top two or three. Amazing to be able to see so far!! We were lucky enough to be there on a fairly clear day!!

Hold onto your hat! Very windy at the top, but an excellent panoramic view of the valley, especially on a clear day. Recommend going before the the sun is setting behind the mountains for best lighting of the area below.
