Kern Park has a lot to offer: Lots of space, massive trees, many picnic tables, access to trails by Milwaukee River, a small baseball diamond, a tennis court, two basketball hoops, and a walking/running loop within.
The County Parks Dept has been responsive when I've requested TLC for tennis court and I think the bathrooms were just rebuilt (I haven't checked them out yet, but it's be great to have the Port-o-lets fine!)response / report this review -

lovely little park. african americans actaully use the facilities. our other residents of riverwest seem to only use it as a walkabout after their evening wine. different strokes for different folks i guess.
