Kensington is a wonderful church - we had "shopped" around different churches and ended up returning every week here. They have achieved a wonderful balance of sticking to scripture but also being modern and relatable. Patrick adds humor sometimes which we also love. We bring our baby and love attending. No judgement, open to anyone and everyone! We volunteer when we can as well.

A very judgemental and condemning,suspicous lot of people attend herethey disrespected us on many levels..We only attended 3 months. My wife was snubbed at womens bible study meetings. My treatment was worse. The love of God was not shown to us. Our friendly manner and attempts at helping with Sunday school were met with suspicion and distrust.

The pastor is not only a deeply spiritual thinker, but an all around good man with a passion for life, family and the community of Traverse City. I'm not one to easily follow a "Shepard" but under this man's wing all are welcome. Come to Baypointe, just as you are, and feel accepted and loved just the way the Prince of Heaven desires for YOU. First steps in the eternal journey promised by only he that can deliver, Jesus Christ.
