An idea has turned into reality. Mr. Eck and Mr. Gonzales from the HS Social Studies Department have launched a project designed to capture and record the history of Kelloggsville, digitally and on a website that can be accessed by the public. Students, under the direction and mentoring of Mr. Eck & Mr. Gonzales will collect, edit and post interviews of past students and teachers of Kelloggsville on a website dedicated to preserving our history. In addition, students will be researching and compiling a timeline history of our school district, its buildings and its people.
To this end we would like to invite anyone who is a Kelloggsville alumni or former teacher or parent of a student or anyone with ties to our community to contact us to set up an opportunity for you to tell your favorite memory, story, person who impacted you or events that were highlights while you were at Kelloggsville. We are looking for humorous stories, fond tributes, turning points in history etc. Email us at jgonzales@kvilleps.org or deck@kvilleps.org to set up a time and place to be interviewed by a student for inclusion in this exciting project.
