My hair is so silky smooth! I had a Brazilian Blowout done by Jessica this past weekend. The process, while a longer service, is pleasant and painless! And wow the results!! I wish I had taken better before and afters, because the change in my hair is incredible. It didn’t take out my natural curl, but it smoother and controlled them. It has cut my air and blow drying time in half at least, and my hair is shiny without a touch of product in it!
Jessica was learning but professional and open to feedback from Caryn, the owner, who supervised every bit of it. I love that she builds people up and opens her salon to those who are learning- that’s the measure of a true professional! I will be back and I highly recommend all of their services, they do it all, from hair to skin!

The staff always greet you with a smile and a cup of coffee, they make sure each service provided fits your needs and you leave happy with your results. Malia was very detail oriented and made me feel very comfortable. I’ve had several people sugar me but this was one of the best experiences I’ve had. She definitely knows what she’s doing and can answer any questions you might have. I’ll definitely be going back to her

I would highly recommend Cheryl at Kaur Lounge! She’s been taking care of my hair for a few years and I absolutely love it. Cheryl is determined to accomplish your hair goals! She is incredibly talented and highly skilled in the newest techniques. I have always appreciated her willingness to work with me and develop my vision for my hair. Amazing salon!! Everyone who works there makes you feel right at home. They always offer you hot tea/coffee or water. They use top of the line products for hair and for lashes! You leave with your hair feeling silky smooth and just how you wanted! I always see ‘Cheryl’ for both hair and lashes and she always does a great job with whatever task i put in front of her! She puts you in a very friendly environment and takes her time to get exactly what you want!

Amazing skilled staff who are friendly and talented! The atmosphere is fantastic and comfortable, and their products are high quality. They really know their stuff at Kaur! Highly recommended. I would not go anywhere else for my hair cut and color needs.

The stylist, Caryn, spent time listening to my concerns. She is highly skilled. I now have the best hair cut ever! The wind blows and it falls back in place without using a brush. Everyone at Kaur Lounge is upbeat and welcoming. The lounge is upscale and spotless. I made my first appointment after seeing a perfect cut on a waitress. I asked where she got her cut and she said people ask her all the time.

I had the most horrible experience at this salon today. I was asked what my price range was when I arrived during the consult, I said $200..then the upselling started like I had never said anything.
I was urged to spend almost $100 more on my cut and colour. I was clear that wasn't happening.
We agreed on a number and proceeded. I had to keep checking to see what she was doing to my hair was included in the price we'd agreed on.
I was kept in the chair a total of 6 HOURS! The place was cold so I froze for 6 hours. I wasn't even offered a magazine during that time.
I got a great hair cut from an attentive stylist but the colour was not what I'd wanted after all of that . This was ignored and I was basically told it WAS what I wanted. Amazing! I had come prepared and had pictures of hairstyles with the colours I wanted, I referred to them often, there was no room for ambiguity!
Perhaps she was distracted because she was doing someone else's colour at the same time?
No apology was made for the excessively long wait I'd endured and no one acknowledged at all why I was annoyed. Not only were no ammends offered but they took a tacky opportunity to try to sell me product I had already refused TWICE when I finally got to the cash. I hate being treated like a dollar sign.
The total was $30 more than I had agreed to and I had had enough of it all at this point. I refused to pay the extra. I was treated like a criminal and asked to keep waiting some MORE while the owner was called about the matter. After 5 minutes of actually waiting because I am a decent person and wanted to resolve the issue, I lost all patience. I paid the amount I had agreed on, foolishly tipped my hairdresser (who WAS a nice person) and left, disgusted and enraged..
They left a message on my phone demanding payment for the extra $30 they decided to add and made some pretty unsavoury threats.. Unbelievable.
The customer service there is aggressively non-existent. Do yourself a favour and avoid this salon.

I have been going to Caryn for about 5+ years for haircuts and color and I see Christina for waxing services. In fact - I moved down to Mukilteo 3 years ago and I still drive over an hour each way to see Caryn and team for my routine services.

Kaur Lounge offers a great selection of high quality hair products – even for those with curly hair like me. The prices are very reasonable and definitely worth it based on the results.

All of the staff are extremely friendly and make your experience an enjoyable one. They are all very skilled and knowledgeable in the services they provide and because of this, I have never been disappointed with any of my prior visits.

Overall – I highly recommend Kaur Lounge!
