Kate spent nearly eight years of her young life dedicated to the study of aesthetics, with a specific focus on Art History, Theory and Modern European Art. Her academic interests led to curatorial internships at many notable institutions, including the Guggenheim, the Whitney Museum, the Smithsonian Museum of American Art and the Phillips Collection. However, her academic and professional experience has not only been limited to curatorial interests as her stint at Doyle New York gave her great exposure to the world of antiques and appraisals. Kate has also had the great advantage of honing her eye through diverse travel experiences, with a capstone opportunity to live and study the utopian land of Rome.
Kate Pearce Vintage officially took off in 2015, after spending nearly a decade of her a free time at estate sales. Eventually, Kate decided to let the world in on her finds. They're just too good to keep to herself.
Armed with vast academic and professional experience, Kate hopes to add worthy pieces to your homes and personal collections.
