I pre-registered via the SMS service and then logged in upon arrival and my wait was just a few minutes. The CSR at window #1 was super nice and cordial.

First time going to this facility. The gentleman asked what I needed, gave me a ticket, I sat down and was called within 5 minutes. The lady who took care of me was also kind and helpful.

Had my wallet stolen in this wonderful town called Topeka, came to my local DMV and was told that they couldn’t help me that day even though I checked in online an hour in advance. Understaffed and very disinterested in being helpful as always. No different than old location.

I could have learned martial arts faster. That "people typically spend 15 minutes to an hour here" is BS. People typically spend the rest of their lives here

My husband and I dreaded going to the DMV due to poor experiences at other locations. We were surprised at how different this one was. We worked with Ethan who actually made our experience enjoyable. This location is by far the best we've ever been to. Thank you Ethan.

We started out at the Lawrence office, my son needed a drivers license renewed. The wait was horrible at about +4 hours. We checked the website for this facility and checked in one line. When we arrived the front desk had us check in and we got a number. There were chairs for everyone and people were being taken care of very quickly. We were in and out in under 30 minutes. The staff was pleasant and helpful. This is in a different location from when I went to the DMV in Topeka last. It's nicely set up.

I went about 8:15 a.m. on a Friday and had a very positive experience when renewing my license. The employees were very friendly and competent. I didn't have to wait at all to be served. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes.

Went in this morning at 9:40 to renew a license, clerk was pleasant and asked me a few questions to ensure I had what's required to complete the renewal. Waited about 10 minutes and was done. Very happy with how quick and efficient the process was. Went there on April 5th which was a Wednesday and a little rainy. Only about 5 people waiting. 6/14/2017: Went in with wife to renew her license. Got there at 9:05 am and waited about 3 minutes before her Nu was called. She had trouble with the eye exam. The gentleman gave us a form to take to our eye doctor and explained to bring it back and she shouldn't have a problem. Since she had been to the eye doctor last week the doctor promptly filled it out. Got back to the drivers license office at 10:21 and she had her license and we were on our way by 10:47. Everyone there were very helpful and polite. Bring the paperwork your supposed to and everything goes quickly.

This place was awful. We looked on the website, and it said all you needed to have in order to get a learner's permit was a proof of residency and identity. Pretty simple. However we get there, and the lady tells us we need a social security card and TWO proofs of residency! WTF! Then we drive back to our house for another 6 miles, get the stuff, and come back. Now get this, we arrive at 10:31, and the lady tells we can't take the test because it's after 10:30!!! This has to be one of the worst places I have ever been to. I would rate it 0 stars if I could.

Went in to get my name changed on my license. The attendant checked to make sure I had the correct documents (I already had them prepared beforehand) and was a bit weird and interrupted me before I could answer her questions multiple times. The attendant also told me the examiner likely wouldn't accept my Missouri marriage license because it was a photocopy with the seal on it (what was provided by the county we were married in). Wait time was extremely quick! The actual person who helped me was extremely quick and polite. He accepted my documents with no problems and had me on my way in less than ten minutes. Great experience except the weird interaction with the attendant in the wait area.

Apparently no one actually works here. Been trying for 4 hours to talk to someone just to get a simple question answered. Why are my taxes paying these people to do nothing?

Called to get put in line to renewal my license. Nothing changed about me. Was given a number to text to get in line. Got a reply text saying 56min wait time. Go down after 45min, screen says my wait is another hour and 35min. Go to the counter to ask why so long. The rude thing behind the counter says "because you got in the wrong line, now go sit down and wait." Finally talk to a Stupidvisor who say nothing he can do. Really? Take my picture, take my money and out I go. SIMPLE! These people are dumb as f. This is why Topeka is the shittiest city anywhere, too many morons in charge. I would suggest if you need to renew, move to another town, it's faster.

    AGGRIVATING!!!!
I had to simple questions, spent almost an hour punching every stinking prompt number available trying to find a human being!

There is absolutely no way to talk to a human being. After not finding any prompts listed for the Kansas disabled parking certificates or tags, yes let's get that straight there are no number prompt anywhere to ask questions about disabled parking certificates. Out of frustration I went to every number prompt possible and was either encouraged to use the online website or the new app. For those numbers who apparently had a human being to talk to, every single one of them said their call volume was high and to try again later. That is a complete joke!!!! .. no matter what time of day, no matter how many times a day you call you get the same message. The least you could do is a Q, taking people's number and calling them back or at least letting us hold to be the next person available.

And people wonder why the public get so frustrated with government entities! Could you at least put your return address somewhere in your correspondence? Not one piece of paper I'm looking at has anything on it other than the Kansas Department of revenue. Yes I know you're in Topeka but what is your ZIP Code? What is your street Address? You sent me paperwork, I have two questions. I guess if it ends up in the wrong office you can call me
