A great date spot, outdoor seating courtyard. All self service and the bill brought to your table after enjoying a great vegetarian meal. Vegan option are labeled on the board.

This highly ornate restaurant, named after Kalachandji, an ancient Hindu deity once considered the "Supreme Personality of Godhead," is the oldest vegetarian eatery in Dallas.

"An ever-changing lunch or dinner buffet includes options like spicy bean soup, rice dishes, and true-to-Texas barbecued tofu. Bring a bit of Kalachandji’s to your own kitchen with cooking classes."

The house tea is the most amazing thing you've tasted. Tarty, sweet, with a hint of lemon. Worth every sip.

Dallas’s oldest vegetarian restaurant uses only fresh vegetables in their dishes, and everything they serve is made with expeller-pressed coconut oil instead of processed vegetable oil.

Located inside a Hare Krishna palace, Kalachandji's is from-the-soul Indian food cooked fresh daily, buffet-style. Eat in a sanctuary-like dining room or their lush outdoor garden. [Eater 38 Member]

If you're not chowing down on the delicious buffet, try taking a cooking class. The classes are intructed by none other than Master Chef Manjuali Devi.

Located in a Hare Krishna temple this is a unique experience of Indian culture. $7.95 gets you the salad bar at lunch ($8.95 for dinner), and the hot buffet is $8.95 for lunch and $11.95 for dinner.

veg buffet to die for. Check their website for the day's menu, grab a plate, and don't skip the bread. Or the green goddess salad dressing. most items are marked for vegan-friendliness.
