We were very pleased with the boarding service. Our dog loved being there over the week we were out of town.

K9 Safari too great care of my dog, Mia, while I spent a week in Kentucky recently. I'll likely return to the Lexington area in the future and if I do, I can rest assured that my dog will have the perfect place to stay that fits her and my needs.
I chose K9 Safari in particular because the idea of boarding my dog in a traditional kennel is contrary to how I want my pet to spend time away from me. My favorite things about K9 Safari: Mia got loads of exercise and time outside socializing with other dogs; Marlize sent me daily updates (with really excellent pictures); and Marlize was very responsive to my questions and regarding my availability for drop off and pick up.
Mia came back to me happy, healthy, and well-exercised!response / report this review -

The only boarding our dog is sad to leave! Marlize took such good care of our Great Dane Violet, and she sends daily photos of her while we're away. It feels so good to have a place we know Violet will be excited to go visit when we leave town! You know your dog is treated well when she walks back over to lean on Marlize when I'm there to pick her up!

If you want the best care for your pet while you are away and at a reasonable rate you should use K9 Safari. Marlize is the primary operator and she has a heart of gold, I am so thankful to have found K9 Safari. She stayed in regular communication with me and I received photos daily. I've never felt so comfortable being away from my beloved Husky.

Absolutly the best place to board!!! Both of my dogs have stayed at K9 safari numerous times and every time I pull up they get really excited. Marlize plays with them and ensures they get to run around and wear themselves out. She sends me daily text messages with photos of them playing and enjoying themseleves. My dogs go to K9 safarie everytime I have a trip I cant take them on. Marlize also works very hard to accomidate my upredictable work schedule when I am dropping off and picking up. 5 Stars!!!

Marlize has taken care of our cats numerous times and always does a great job. Some of our pets require special food, and she makes sure each one has what they are supposed to have. She sends us photos every day so we can see how they are. Highly recommended.

We love K9 Safari!! She takes excellent care of our greyhound, Dudley, and sends us daily pictures while we are away. Dudley is happy when we drop him off and happy when we pick him up! Rates are very reasonable. This is the first pet sitter we tried when we moved to town, the only place we plan to use in the future, and we recommend her to anyone!
