  We love this church! We feel at home with all of the people and it's such a warm, loving, and spirit-filled atmosphere.
  The weekly messagages and worship services have been so powerful, speaks the truth, and very relivant to current situations. We leave the church feeling challenged, encouraged and proud to be a part of this family.
  Journey Community Church is also actively involved with the commuity and offers several ways to be a part of their awesome outreach and volunteer programs.
  If you live or just visiting the east Dallas area and are looking for a great place to worship, come check this church out you won't be disappointed.

  Journey church is all about the journey we're on in this life. Part of our church's journey is ministering to our neighbors. We host a block party including an outdoor movie the first Friday of the month. This is an exciting and fun association with McKenzie Elementary in Mesquite. Our pastor's sermons never focus on our shortcomings, but on our potential. There is no condemnation, no dress code, and no pleading for money.
  
  We've never seen anything but love and understanding from our pastoral staff. Jonathan, the senior pastor, is a young man in his thirties but his education and his experience is extensive. Having been in church all my life I've never known a more loving and upbeat pastor. Jeremy, our executive pastor, is every bit as loving and genuine as Jonathan and is about the same age. David, another young man, is our worship leader (very professional). he chooses a nice mix of modern and traditional music.
  
  The church building is modern and very pleasingly laid out with modern sound and video systems. There is a very large and open socializing area where we enjoy coffee and donuts before service. The children's department is very nice too!
  
  I just can't imagine anyone not feeling loved, welcomed, and at home here at Journey Church.

  I am biased because I currently work here, but we moved all the way from Ohio to be a part of this community. It's a unique space and a focus on people and community.
