I would like to take a moment and say thank you to all of my supporters. I truly appreciate all of you and your encouragement over the past few months and especially over the past couple of days. We fought hard and ran a strong campaign. I would like to congratulate Anna Sousa on her victory. I would also like to congratulate my dear friend and our new Mayor Bob DaSilva, I am so excited to see what the future of East Providence will bring under his direction. Congratulations ...to some new friends I have had the pleasure of getting to know this year, Robert Britto, Nate Cahoon, Ricardo Mourato, and Bob Rodericks. With this new Mayor and Council I am confident our beautiful city is set to get on the right track towards restoring Townie Pride.
Although I will not have the privilege of serving in an official capacity, I stand at the ready to support our friends in this city government however I can. Thank you to every one of you that had invested your time and that supported us financially. I want to say a special thank you to my wife Nancy Pereira, my children Hailey and Aiden, my parents Eunice Pereira and Floriano Pereira, my sister Rachel Elizabeth and William McCoy, Jr., my sister Sarah Ferro and brother in law Tony Ferro, the worlds GREATEST Campaign Manager Carol Sylvia Delmonico, my good friend and campaign consultant David Clemente, the master of my schedule since February and my dear friend Julie Silva, my Family, my Church Family and every member of my campaign team. I couldn't have done this without all of you.
