  My sewer pipe got clogged and my basement got flooded with toilet water and poop and I called Joseph L. Balkin Inc. Sewer & Water Main specialist and George came to the rescue and came over as soon as he could to help me get my sewer line working again so I can shower and use the toilet. George is resourceful and persistent in getting the job done. He would troubleshoot the sewer line trap, bathroom toilet, shower drain, and laundrey room drain and use different method and techniques to unclogg the sewer pipe. Thanks again George for unclogging my family's sewer pipe.

  I am rating this company 5 stars. I would rate them 10 if it were a 10 star rating system. My sewer main had collapsed and needed an immediate replacement. Being an HVAC contractor myself, I found them running their crews exactly how I run my crews and my shop. Punctual, professional, honest and did exactly what they said they would do from start to finish. It made living without water or sewer (on and off) for a few days not as bad as you would imagine. Hire these guys. They are well worth the few extra dollars. I also hired a CALL-A-HEAD portable bathroom system for the crews, well worth the $150 per month. There could be up to 10 guys a day working for a few days so the little extra comfort for them was worth it. Great, hard working guys from start to finish!!!

  Our family would give 20 stars if we could! Recently had a pipe blockage and George really came to the rescue. Through trial and tribulations to find out exactly what was wrong, it took some time, but George never gave up on our pipe issue! We are very thankful for the determination and ingenuity to solve our issue because it indeed was a very complex pipe to figure out. If you ever have a problem - George of Balkan is your man to call!

  I would like to thank George, Vinnie and his crew from Balkans Plumbing for all there help and excellent services. Vinnie and the boy brought my water back in 1 day which was amazing, Bc of them I'm able to shower again lol. On the other hand George helped getting these nasty neighbors off my back who tried to blame me for water backing up into there basement. George did the diagnosis and basically showed them my sewer had nothing to do with there basement water. He was kinda a lawyer explaining to these annoying people. I highly recommend Balkans and definitely George to fix any plumbing issues, he as the experience and knows what he's doing. Thanks crew.

  All I have to say they are the BEST.. they made it happened!!! ..
  Splitting two properties water meters according to many architects and expediters was a mission and the stated I needed new prints , permits etc ..and crazy $$$ .
  After they got deposit they disappeared. or another issue supposedly came into place. I was totally depress ,that I couldn't find anyone that can be honest , return calls or help me.
  I decide to "light up a candle and pray at night , woke up and google "sewer and water company " and saw "Balkan" read their reviews and called.
  I met with Frank amazing guy and very knowledgeable , whom advise me of all my different options that i had in order to accomplished my goal . The price was so cheap compare to all the crook out there,
  " i didn't need no new prints , no architect like the rest have suggested and taken my $$$ since it was a preexisting building with water running already...
  I thank Joseph Balkan and his associates for such a wonderful job and for their honesty... I am so happy to get rid of such a headache
  so grateful to find you guys......

  I had a leak in my domestic line. They handled everything beautifully. A great hardworking crew of four men did the repair. Pricewise they were extremely competitive. The crew the next day did an excellent patch job of the street as well. Couldn't be more pleased.

  Unbelievable service and professionalism! I am the owner of Kids 'N Shape in Howard Beach. We had a blockage in our drain today which disabled both of our toilets (not good when kids are off from school and you've got a full schedule). Balkan sent someone same day and saved our behinds!
  
  George couldn't have been any better. Not only was he extremely courteous, knowledgeable, and professional, but he even did an amazing cleanup job of both of our bathrooms after fixing the problem. I can't say enough good things about the Balkan team and experience.

  Balkan was great, responded quickly & George was the best - he identified the problem right away & tried to save me money by trying some simple remedies. When those didn't work, he took care of the problem with the powerful snake. He was extremely pleasant & did a really good job cleaning up after himself. I would definitely recommend Balkan & I would ask for George.

  I agree with some of the other reviewers about the uncertified/drunken workers that this company has. One of those idiots tried to talk to my 16 year old daughter and touched her inappropriately. One of his buddies gave up his name as Giovanni Bubbo. I'm still debating weather or not to press charges.

  George was my service technician today. He cleared my sewer drain. I have to say that I've never before met a technician that was as knowledgeable or as sensitive to his work! He not only used the mechanical equipment - choosing a blade bigger that I've seen used before, but was also sensitive to the sound from the sewer line, the texture of the interior of the pipe, the sound of the water, and yes, even the scent from the pipe (I'm not joking!)
  I have every confidence that his diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis is spot-on perfect - yes, Dr. George!
  He is also very neat, thorough, and pleasantly entertaining!
  I would, and will, most definitely recommend Balkan and George to anyone.
  It's such a pleasure to find a company one can trust to be absolutely truthful!
