Hands down the best Mexican taco shop in the tri-City area. I’m a huge fan of there California, Jose special and carne asada fries!! Super delicious!! Plus it’s the only Jose taco shop that sells beer. The place is always packed so the cashier and cooks are always hustling. Who cares about customer service it’s all about the great food you get!!

the food is delicious and the price is super cheap!! only down fall is the older bitter lady taking orders! she's very rude and always seems to have an attitude. if you guys up your customer service game you'll definitely get a 5 star!!!

I feel so lucky to live so close! Very good California burrito and super fries. I wish the salsa and verde was a bit more mild, or had a mild choice. The breakfast burritos are good but you want to order it with both ham and bacon ($1.00 extra). It's my go-to and I would recommend!

BEST Breakfast Burrito!! Everything is made fresh. They get up early in the morning and start a fresh batch of carrots and peppers. YUMMY! No breakfast burrito anywhere compares to Jose's. They have a lot of great food too. But we will always go for the carrots, salsa and breakfast burritos. Great staff too!

The food is consistently delicious and flavorful. The portions are big and prices are not too bad. I've been going here for 20 years. The only knock I have is that the restaurant can be a little tight as far as seating and walkways.

The California burrito was HUGE and soooo delicious! It had good flavor and the meat was juicy and the fries weren't dry! It was stuffed with such goodness I couldn't even finish it I had food coma after hahaha! The red salsa was spicy and good along with the green one. I love how they have little onions in it which adds flavor! Best place for Mexican Food at the BEST price! Totally recommend this place! I loved it and the people there were really nice :) ! Huge thumbs up to this place.

The best Mexican food in Oceanside!. There are hundreds of Mexican places here in Oceanside. And at least 98% of them are so disappointing it's impossible to put into words. This place is small and authentic and delicious. You will love it. And if you want to down a Modelo, Corona, Tecate or any Mexican beer they have that here as well. Homemade Salsas of every kind at the salsa bar. Delicious

Jose's is our go-to taco shop. I have lived here for 28 years, and I have yet to find a better fish burrito. 1 minute from my work. I could eat here every day. Who needs Mexican restaurants when you have Jose's!
