Nice park. Open and spacious. Bathrooms a bit sketchy but overall a nice place to fish or relax. Kyak rentals available.

Great spot to seat at watch the sun go down, few picnic table so you can bring some food. Restroom avalible.

Nice park for a short walk with views of the naval academy and the Severn River. Some people go fishing off the old bridge or from the rocks on the shoreline. No swimming here, but you can bring your canoes or kayaks to launch from this site!
Free parking/entrance!
Right next door to a waterfront restaurant in case you want to go for a short walk after your fancy dinner.
There are some educational signs about history and nature around the park. The Welcome center is now owned by AA County and has pamphlets on recreational activities and parks for children and adults.response / report this review -

Great place to get some fishing in. It gets a little crowded so come early. Had a Total of 6 for the day. The guy next to me got 2 large catfish.

I met alot of wonder people when I go there.the only thing I dislike like was that I forget I could crab on Wednesday and the DR seen me getting my baskets out of my car and did not said anything let me put baskets my baskets in the water walked up there when I got all of my baskets in the water and walked to were I was at and gave me a hundred and twenty-five dollar ticket.

Quaint and clean public park. Not really worth fishing or crabbing here unless you like small sized catch, but it is great for taking a stroll and getting fresh air.

Small park but excellent for fishing and just to hangout and get some green scenery. We went there to fish- unfortunately with the wrong baits. Fish there seem to like very small shrimp. Anyway, recommend getting there early as it got pretty crowded around noon.
