Had a blast . Seems like some places had dropped prices which was nice . Some kid zone had deals where they would get a fun keepsake while have unlimited goes . Also get to learn about different trades . It's just a great family time.
What a sweet surprise. Beautiful wooded large campground in the middle of the city. Nice hikes to Johnny Appleseed grave and walk along the river. We even saw a beaver. All next door to the convention center.
A wonderful RV campground! Its right in the middle of the city but encased in a tranquil park with the St. Joseph river right at your back door. The shower facilities are clean and roomy, the staff is friendly and the sites are spacious and surrounded by large lovely trees. The dog park across the street is for members only but never you mind! My dog had a wonderful time splashing around in the river and running around the open fields around the park. Well definitely be staying here again when we return to Fort Wayne.
Wonderful atmosphere! Family friendly. Ham and Bean soup from South Side optimist club are awesome!
Great spot to camp overnight. I had a large site and everything worked great. The bathhouse was fantastic. The camp host was accessible and friendly. The price was good.
Large park with a wonderfully friendly staff. Sites were close but not overly tight. Great access to local park. Historic dam is within walking distance.
Site was generally level
Satelitte access was blocked by trees
Stayed there last year in early August and will again this year. The host was great and the shower were really clean. Certainly do appreciate the fine job the host does to keep the place so nice..Thank You
This place is a gem! Sites are close together, however, you can't beat the location. The camp hosts are great folks. Water and Electric only but they do have a dump and a honey wagon that comes around for $10.
Nice small park. There are some events here, which make use of the entire park, but normally we just stay near the playground for the kids. There are some campsites available also during the warmer months.
Your average Fort Wayne park. Frequent activities are held throughout the year including the famous Johnny Apple seed festival where you explore that Era of life and have the option of buying lots of hand crafted stuff and filling yourself with a wide variety of food. A couple areas for children to play at and right next to the War Memorial Collesium.
We cannot say enough nice things about this park! The hosts were wonderful, polite and very helpfull. We are full timers and the shower/laundry facilities were some of the nicest that we have experienced. The location is great relative to anything that you might need or want and the park is very clean and well kept. We stayed here for five months and plan to return just to visit with some of the great people that we met during our stay.
Best city RV park we have ever stayed at. The hosts/local team keep this park immaculate and should be highly commended for their work as it is rare to find such a nice city RV park in the US. The sites have electric and water (20/30/50 amp). Dump Station on site, locked laundry onsite, locked clean shower house, and a $10 on site optional dump service. The GPS may and you in the Coliseum parking lot but-the entrance is off of Parnell before the river by the baseball diamond. Internet on site but is spotty so do not count on it. Location fantastic as it sits in Ft Wayne 2 miles from City Center, near any and all retail you could ever want. The park itself is quiet, peaceful, tree setting with large sites, and any longer term visitors have very well kept sites- no homesteading feeling at all if there is any. Safe feeling and locals validate it is safe. $22/night. Again, a little gem in Fort Wayne. Thank you for having us we wished we could stay longer. Aloha.
