This place was amazing! We had BLTs with 6 (!!!) slices of bacon. We had a side of maple butter fries that were sweet and salty and delicious. We will definitely be back :) the complimentary cupcake was very generous of them. It was a short stop but a great one. Highly recommended!

Good was okay, pastries we're disappointing, Danish dough was very dense like bread dough instead of pastry dough. I'd have happy taken a smaller treat made with a lighter dough

It appeared to be a quaint pleasant atmosphere is the reason why we stopped, and since we are local wanted to give back to the community.
However we ordered our icecream and sat down at the outside designed area. And approximately 2 minutes later the one that served us came out unplugged the water fountain to the pond and told us we had to leave. This is not how a buisness is run.And will not be returning..

What a little gem of a place! The food is delicious, much much better than you would expect from a small roadside cafe. HUGE portions, lovely atmosphere with canopied outside dining overlooking a pretty pond. Great service, reasonable pricing and beautiful artwork on display as well as for sale. I just wish this cafe was in my town, Georgia! It is definitely worth the trip to Highgate, you will return again and again.

Not sure if this place is permanently closed for sure. They maple syrup in the spring and when that is over, this place opens up. I've thought its closed a few times but it always pops back up. Let's hope it opens back up because this place is absolutely amazing. The owner is hilarious and super friendly. Portions are super huge. Stopped here on a whim one day passing by and couldn't believe what an awesome find this pace is.
