From the very start, my experience with JLP was nothing but exceptional. This was not my first home but it was my first time building a home and I was walked through every step of the process by the team. The most notable mention goes to Chris Watts who continuously operated outside of his role as a salesman to ensure I was in constant contact with the JLP team and worked to answer any other questions that came up. I will definitely refer to JLP for any future builds and recommend them to anyone looking to build their first or last home.

Chris Watts was/is our salesman for our JLP home. We looked at numerous builders to build us our forever home and after looking and asking many residents of Vintage Oaks, we happily chose JLP builders.
We hired an independent inspector to inspect all phases of the home build and he stated “this is one of the best builds I have ever inspected.”
Not only did that make us extremely happy and calmed any fears we had, JLP ensured we had all the “extras” we wanted such as tile flooring throughout the home and the wood beams we wanted in the living room.
Throughout the build, Chris stayed in constant contact with us. At closing, we realized there were a few items that was not finalized such as our double oven. Chris promised all items we identified as needing to be fixed would be fixed even though we were closing and we can attest the items identified were not only fixed, JLP ensured we were completely satisfied.
We had a major winter storm here in Texas and many of our neighbors had water pipes busted and major damage to their home. Due to the high quality of the build of our home, not only did we have no leaks, no damage, our smart home and insulation kept our electricity at a low usage and we not only did not lose electricity, we did not lose any water. We were so blessed!
We can highly recommend JLP to build you an efficient, beautiful, skillfully constructed, smart home that you and your family will love for years to come.
One of the best things about JLP is not just the high quality home build, the company continues to reach out and stays in contact with us to ensure we are loving our home. Chris is like family as he is always available for any questions/concerns we have and when we reached out to JLP/Chris to ask about things like additions to our home, they are very responsive and has no problems stopping by to discuss what can and cannot be done.
We are wanting to add a porch to the front of our home, and when we get ready to build, Jimmy, Chris and the rest of JLP staff will be the first and only company we will ever use to add anything to our home.
Do not let anyone else build your forever home. We promise you will not be disappointed to let JLP build you the best home you could ever imagine.response / report this review -

We recently moved into our JLP home that was built on our lot. We couldn’t be happier. The first time we walked into a JLP home we knew this was the builder we wanted to use. Jimmie Pogue is honest and sincere. He cares about his customers and the home being built for them. Can’t say enough about Willie Mueller, our construction supervisor. Willie built our house as if it were his own. He pays attention to details. He brought things to our attention we would have never thought of. Communication is a big part of JLP. Always just a phone call away! Highly recommend this builder and wish them only the best.

JLP Builders built our home just recently and I have to say we were impressed every step of the way from start to finish. It’s a great quality home and we absolutely love it. The attention to detail is superb for every room in our home and we are so very pleased with how it turned out. The included upgrades are second to none, and we had very little we wanted changed with our plan. But the changes we did make were done without incident. Very happy in our custom built JLP Builders home. Highly recommend them!

We met Jimmie in March of 2019 and fell in love with the care and detail he puts into his homes. Shortly after, we went under contract with him to build us a home at Vintage Oaks! The build process and the communication provided was pleasantly surprising! We were in constant communication with weekly updates and if we ever had any issues or questions they were handled immediately. We moved into our house this past fall and are extremely happy! So much so, that we’ve recommended JLP to numerous people in the area and even as far as California! (Trying to get some of our friends and family to move to Texas!) JLP truly goes above and beyond for their clients in all aspects! We highly recommend them!
**as a side note about the owner Jimmie.he is humble, honest, has high integrity and truly LISTENS to his clients. He doesn’t look at the building of homes as just another househe realizes that it is YOUR home and is the biggest investment you’ll ever makeso great care is taken with his clients and their dream home!**response / report this review
