Want to learn more about the research accomplishments here at the Center for Brain Injuries? Here is an article from our very own Drs. Keith Cicerone and Yelena Goldin!
This systematic review is the most recent update in a series of prior evidence-based reviews (the first of which being published almost 20 years ago!) that systematically evaluate and integrate existing empirical evidence to identify and develop the effective evidence-based guidelines for cognitive rehabilitation treatment following TBI or stroke. This work, like the ones prior, has been seminal in the establishment of practice standards and continues to inform provider training and policy.
A friendly reminder that we are just a few short weeks away from hosting Imagine NJ at the Brain Injury Support Group meeting on June 11th from 6-7:30pm in the Great Room, where they will present on Grief and Loss After Brain Injury. This event is perfect for first time attendees looking to learn more about brain injury and its recovery. We look forward to seeing many familiar faces, and hopefully new ones too!
