Make the trip from Louisville as often as we can for this dining experience. Never had a meal we didn't enjoy. Food is amazing. I especially enjoy the hot brown and my husband the grilled meat loaf.

This place was recommended to us at our stay at the belterra. The service was excellent. Staff is very friendly and the food was awesome. We're from north-east Ohio. And would eat there again if given the chance.

I've been to plenty places around this area that cooks this type of food. This wasn't the best but not the worst. I LOVED the amount they give you portion wise but there was not much for my kids to choose from on the menu. The service is fast but barely any interaction with the waiter. It's a small place so If you have young kids it can be really hard to be comfortable here. This place is great for take out and food flavor is decent.

Best steak and mushrooms, I have EVER HAD. LOVE THE Baked potato, ( not over cooked ) like most places. Everyone was, very nice, and polite. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restaurant. And I don't give 5 stars, ever.. I take FOOD SERVICE TO HEART

It was quite crowded when we arrived , but seating was pretty fast. Everything on the menu looked good, but I chose the shrimp and grits and fried green tomatoes. Both were fantastic!

So glad we read the reviews and took a risk on Jewell's on Main. Was headed home to MI from a conference in Nashville with a friend. Couldn't stomach the thought of eating at a chain restaurant on 75. This experience was well worth the detour! Best shrimp and grits I've ever eaten! Unique experience, order at the counter and you get a table assigned to you. Had a great conversation with people in line and decided to share a table with them. Small town America at it's finest.

This has been my favorite restaurant since they opened. Down home comfort food with a bit of a gourmet twist. Definitely somethimg for everyone on the menu.

We come here often. It's a 45 min drive. We know there can be a wait, oh well we don't bring the kids for that reason.
Food is always great. One lady wrote staff is rude, never have experienced this. We have dealt with the bad phone issue trying to make sure they we're open on a birthday occasion. I ended up calling the fire house across the street who came over and checked on them.

Wonderful food with a home town vibe. The only confusion came with the ordering process, but after it's explained, easy. Started with the bayou shrimp (DELICIOUS). I recommend any of the salads. I had the grilled herbed chicken with portebella mushroom sauce and it was amazing. To top the entire experience off the owner casually walks around talking to customers. Prices excellent and food is even better!

Great food. Unique atmosphere. You stand in line to order, then they bring the food out. The food was amazing, and will definitely be back when I am down from Cincinnati again. Not at all what you expect from the type of restaurant it looks like. If you have a chance, stop by you will not be disappointed. I got a steak, and it was great. Never would have thought this place does good steaks, but they do. Don't hesitate to get anything on the menu.
