For the past decade Jesse has owned and operated the Gastonia Grizzlies and now the Savannah Bananas. He’s hosted Grandma Beauty Pageants, Salute to Underwear Nights, Flatulence Fun Nights and even the World’s Largest Pillow Fight.
His players do choreographed dances at the ballpark, his fans get hit with pies during the games and he wears a bright yellow tuxedo at every game.
He even proposed to his wife, Emily with the yellow tux on and in the middle of a sold out game. The two later married at their stadium during a torrential rainstorm.
Jesse’s tried almost everything with his company Fans First Entertainment with his model of “Finding Your Yellow Tux – How to Stand Out, Be Different & Find Your Purpose.”
He and his teams have welcomed more than a million fans to their ballparks and have been featured on MSNBC, CNN, Good Morning America and multiple times on ESPN.
Cole’s greatest mentors are Bill Veeck, PT Barnum and Walt Disney. All three share a wall in his office on custom-made posters that display the words Innovation, Showmanship, and Vision.
With their inspiration, he has developed the mantra “if it’s normal, do the exact opposite.”
Cole’s passion is to provide fun for as many people as possible and to inspire others to be different and stand out.
He is releasing his first book “Find Your Yellow Tux” later this year.
