If your in dfw & have a stainless steel prop and need it fixed these guys are great.
I needed to reprop my boat and have my current stainless steel propeller rebuilt. They did a great job on rebuilding my old prop and had it finished even quicker that I expected. I ended up buying and exchanging three different propellers using their exchange program before I found the right prop for my boat. Service was much better thatn I expected and I would highly recommend them.
.I stopped in last minuet for a backup prop. I could tell they were very busy, but they went out of their way to help me. Gave me several different options and in the end I got just the right part and some great advise. No hard sell, they could have sold me whatever they wanted but choose to get me what I needed. With the way I bang up props I will need their help again. Glad they are here.
Called up about a prop for my boat and was told they had a reconditioned prop for $90 and it would be $135 if I needed a hub kit. Called back a few minutes later with a question and was told by a different guy they didnt have anything like that, it was $200 for a reconditioned prop or $250 for a new stainless steel prop plus $50 for a hub. I can order a new one on line for $120 these guys are pulling a bait and switch and trying to steal in my opinion. Go elsewhere.
I tried three props until I found the perfect one. I have an older 1979 Sea Ray SRV200 with a 5.7. I Wanted to get a better holeshot with the boat. It would take forever to plane out. The third try worked for me and I had no problems with any of the people at James Propellers. As long as you bring it back with no damage its ok. They were stainless props and they let me try them until I found the correct one. Try that at any other place. Thanks guys and keep up the good work. You were right, the 17 did the trick!
Take care and thanks again.
