Here to pick up tickets for a future event. Pretty run down looking and the glass on the box office window looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years.

Ordered tickets for Hank Williams Jr. Tickets did not mailed. Called, 4 different numbers, 5 different people. Their solution was for me to come pick up. Nope, email. Got there, there WAS NO SEAT 24! REALLY LEARN TO COUNT HW Jr at 8 pm. 40 minutes of some person mulling words. Now another no name act us set up, it is 8:45.. Talk about FALSE ADVERTISING, IS HE EVEN IN TOWN?

Love going to concerts here! Windsor Club is a great feature and worth the money! Parking can be rough to get if you're running late so be early or take a taxi!

I was back at the James Brown Arena for an awesome event, an evening with Uncle Charlie and Fantasia. I was so excited for this event for months. I vowed to be in the place when I heard my girl Tasia would be shutting it down in Augusta again. I had been a fan of hers ever since she came out the gate with 'I Believe'. I also had been riding to her new album, The Side Effects of You, for a while, and knew she would be doing some songs off of this album.

Obtaining tickets was a breeze and is always a breeze when buying them at the box office. I prefer that over ordering them online. The attendant is able to explain several details to you about the venue and the actual event. The time had come to attend this event, entering the event was easy and non complicated. But there was a snag that came unexpected. The ushers weren't allowing the concert goers into the actual arena until a certain time. The concert was suppose to start a 7:00 but they didn't let us in until later than that making it impossible to start on time. We had to stand there until they started letting people in. The waiting area got really crowded and I began to sweat because of the amount of people that was standing around.

Finally they let us in and we took our seats. The show started soon after that. Fantasia came on first and killed it starting of with 'So Much to Prove' of the new album, one of my favorite songs off that album. She did several of her hits and more but they cut some of her time on stage due to the wait we had and the length of Uncle Charlie's set. I didn't find that out until after the concert. She did an amazing job!!! She did not disappoint.

Next, it was Uncle Charlie's turn to bless the stage, and that he did!!!! He did an amazing job too!!! He danced and sung his ass off!!!! He mention that he recently had health problems and major surgery but you couldn't tell by the way he performed!!!!

This was an awesome show and well worth the time and ticket price. I can't wait to see who will be the next performers I want to see to grace the stage at the JBA. Augusta has been great at bringing performers people really want to see and gladly pay their money for a great show. I hope this lasts for a while because I'm tired of traveling elsewhere to see entertainers I like.
