If you want to take a walk in a peaceful environment this is the place to go. TRAILHEAD BY BODARK LAKE .
If you want to fish in a peaceful environment you will have to search for a spot on the backside of a lake or come during the week.

I like to fish here. I have been here quite a few times and caught she fish. I know a few people who fish here and catch allot. Do many places to choose from to fish at or take a boat out. Usually quiet and peaceful. Not enough bathrooms though. I usually choose a place that has a bathroom available.

These lakes in Lee Summit are a Hidden Gem! We just recently found this Wildlife Area, and we've been out here probably five or six times in the last month. I think there's seven or eight Lakes? It's really a very nice area with caught a lot of good fish here!

This is a well maintained area for fishing, hunting, hiking and other activities. Lots of small lakes/ponds that are easy to take the kids to. No private boats are allowed here. I would like to be able to take my canoe out to fish from.

Clean, clean, clean and well stocked with fish. But it is truly a wild life area and Nell Lake is literally infested with Water Moccasin Snakes. The paved levy has individual spac es that are fully tree shaded. Fully handicapped accessible for the wheel chair bound. During my visit a game warden arrived to check licenses. If cat fishing is your thing, try this lake.

Great area to take family and spend some time outdoors. Plenty of lakes for fishing, and a special lake reserved just for kids to fish on. There is a hiking trail that is great for kids.
