Really enjoyed our late lunch in the bar on Saturday afternoon. Food and service were both terrific. Crab dip appetizer very tasty. Husband devoured his crispy pork sandwich. Steak salad was one of best I've ever hadvery flavorful. Our server even helped change tv to our favorite team's game! We are traveling cross country and are glad we found Jake's!

Ordered fish and fries. The fish wad great but I had to send back the fries because they were not hot and were tough. They brought new , they were good. Why do restaurants serve old fries?

Food was fine, we seemed to get lost by the wait staff, so we were there 2 @ 1/2 hrs. Not sure why. We were with great friends, so we were fine. They did buy a round of wine so we wouldn't whine too much!

Great place to go for happy hour. They have friendly staff and local favorite beers on tap. Nice patio when the weather is nice. They actually open their patio on nice days rather than after Manorial Day like many of the other restaurants in Billings.

Darcy, our waitress, was superb. Also: best prime rib I've had in 12 years. I understand that the stars may have aligned (that happens with meat preparation, I know) BUT, nevertheless, they aligned here and not at any of the other top steakhouses in the region (I have 8 states in the Rocky Mountain territory); not once in the past decade did anyone serve me a better prime rib). Many, many kudos. Highly recommended.
