Jake Leahy is a member of the Bannockburn School District 106 Board of Education, entrepreneur, writer, and activist. On April 4, 2017 he was elected to his local school board and was the leading vote getter in the race. With the election, he became the youngest elected official in Illinois. His work has been featured in The Hill, The Huffington Post, and numerous other publications. He has also appeared on numerous Chicago outlets including The Steve Cochran show on WGN, and The Morning Answer with Dan Proft and Amy Jacobson on WIND. He is the founder of Leahy, Inc. a consulting firm focused on rethinking digital marketing strategy to compete in the 21st century.
