This place is great if you're only interested in checking out what Volvo is offering these days, because they'll leave you alone to explore the (tiny) showroom. If you want to go on a test drive then they force you to literally dress yourself up. The salesman sized me up the second I walked in and told me that I wouldn't be able to test drive an XC90 because they were "short on stock." Meanwhile they had FIVE of them sitting outside that could have easily been pulled out of parking. Don't expect anything more than typical car salesman B-S from this mediocre dealership.

They are really good till you sign the paperwork. Then you go from a customer to being treated like you ripped them off.

As we are signing the paperwork they take the car back to wash it for us. Nice of them right? Well they did that but also took the floor mats out.

When I get home and ask my sales man about the mats I was told Mark Jackson told him not to give them to me.

They did eventually give them to me but I can't believe they tried to steal them from me as I was signing the paperwork.

So I also notice the passenger door sticks and the need maintenance light is on.

Well since I didn't have in the deal for anything promised they won't help me with those two things. Oh they did look at the door and told me for $350.00 they'll fix it.

All I want them to do on the maintenance light is to tell me if it needed anything or at least how to shut it off. Nope can't even do that.

I talked to Mark Jackson who made me feel like I ripped him off in this deal. He said he sold it to me so cheap that it is as is and too bad for me.

My wife and I tried to leave many times during this deal but they insisted on fudging numbers till they worked. We were actually in the car, pulling away - when they came running out asking if we'd sign at $xxx a month. So, you tell me? They even told us as they were trying to agree to numbers -- that they hadn't sold a single car that day. And it was 3 PM on a Sunday.

Then on Monday they tried to change the deal, and said that we needed to come in and sign new paperwork. The "new & better" deal had a higher payment and yes shorter term - but we agreed to what we agreed to. My wife told them, if we don't get the car at what we initially agreed to - that she would drive their car back to their lot, and take our trade in back. We never begged, sobbed or cried for them to sell us their car. But, yet somehow they "called in a favor" and the original deal stood. Yeah how many times have I heard that before?

At little bit of customer service after the deal would have changed this review a lot but you are only worth their time till you buy. After that you are just bugging them.

I can say my sales guy Brian is a good guy and tried to help after the fact but Mark Jackson could care less about his customers.

A couple months ago we purchased our first Jackson Volvo vehicle. We were *very* pleased with the service in the sales department, particularly with Richard. He is professional, on the ball, and bent over backwards for us. At the same time, he never pressured us to buy, or tried to influence us to go new or used. I have a fair amount of experience in purchasing and leasing cars, and we were spared the usual head games. We were so happy with Richard, we just went back to them for our second vehicle. Bottom line is it's about a personal experience and Richard's the man.

Well after reading all of the negative post I still wanted to purchase a Volvo so I went to Jackson Volvo and did my work Yes I paid a little more then I wanted but I realize this is Hawaii and it cost more to run a business here. The sales staff was awesome Darryl was is a great sales person. I was also introduced to the service department they seem very nice and wanted to make sure I was set up with my first service appointment at 7500 miles. I also spoke to the Owner Mr Jackson and told him about all this negative stuff I read he said he now has the sales and service under new Management and he wishes all those customers who have good experiences to write them here. He pointed out that their is often times were he and his staff just cant do what a customer wants and then they leave un-happy and make bad reports. Hes been a Volvo dealer since 1996 so I'll be back and I will send all my friends
