JC Wine Cellars

JC Wine Cellars is housed in a historic building in rural Jefferson County; most of which has been left in its original state. The original business was a car dealership which sold the Hudson and Nash automobiles. Later, the cars sold were Ramblers and then AMC automobiles. The present building is a one story masonry building which was the long time business home of the H & M Garage commonly referred to as "Hanlin's Garage" by local residents. JC Wine Cellars was established in 1998. The winery began production that year & remains a small, hands-on winery producing small amounts of exceptional wines. The opening of the restaurant occurred in October of 1999. The Meals decided that they would offer the highest quality, freshest foods to compliment the JC Wine Cellars brand as well as an extensive international wine list. The menu features the freshest seafood, aged, hand-cut Certified Black Angus steaks, Duckling Ala Orange, Northern Italian dishes to name a few. In recent years JC Wine Cellars put in a custom made bar which is now featuring one-of-a-kind cocktails, local brews, and wines from across the globe! The award winning restaurant & winery has had visitors from every state in the United States as well as from countries all over the world.
