  Bought a pair of hiking boots for some upcoming backpacking trips. The gentleman helping me was very knowledgeable, and made great recommendations! Love this place for any outdoor gear.

  The store was not busy and no one helped us for at least 5 minutes. There were 2 or 3 employees working at the time. My friend i was with is a gun enthusiast and was looking for a mount for his high powered assault rifle. The weapon is only used for target practice. They informed us that they are a Colorado owned store and owners do not like assault weapons. It is my belief that a gun is a gun and being a gun supply store they should service all weapons.

  Jax is a great store. They carry high end products. You get what you pay for. I've bought all my guns here and some hunting apparel. Today I found some heated socks and a nice driving cap. Both are hard to find but they had them at a fair price. I have never had a problem with any of my guns from there either. Thanks!!

  Excellent store for all your outdoor needs. I buy a lot of gear from then and the service is always top notch. Andy helps me out on prices and getting the best deal. With them being local I'd rather buy from them then online anytime!

  Outstanding Store! If your into the outdoors, this is the store for you, fast friendly knowledgable employees, vast inventory, great location, plenty of parking too. Hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, just about everything is waiting for you here...

  Terrible customer service. I went in looking for some handgun ammo and was not acknowledged by the staff as they were too busy talking with each other. After a few minutes I interjected and was met with an 'I can't be bothered' attitude. After asking about a specific brand, I was spoken to in an incredibly condescending tone and treated like I was a child. I would rather run out of ammo than return to Jax. Definitely will not be going back.

  Love it here!! The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, and they have everything you could ever need! Note that there are technically two stores here, so if you can't find what you want on one side it's probably in the other building. They also have rentals.

  Excellent outdoor store. Love the camping department. They carry stuff that you can't find hardly anywhere else and the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. If you are an outdoor enthusiast, definitely give them a try. Also they rent cross country skis in the winter and kayaks/canoes in winter. Great options.

  Great local sporting goods store with a huge selection of items comparable to a large scale store. Prices are a little higher then the large scale stores but its made up for with the 1 on 1 customer service and their focus on customer satisfaction. They generally have good local hunting/fishing reports

  Went in to get a new fishing setup add I haven't been fishing in two decades and decided it would be fun for the summer to do with friends.
  Staff pointed me to their fishing department and told me either of the people working were very knowledgeable about local spots and could help me pick out what I needed.
  Was asked what type of fishing I preferred and what I was used to from years ago. Staff pointed me to some inexpensive options and some step up options and took the time to explain why the price difference.
  Also helped me pick out tackle and got me setup with rod, reel and line.
  Easily the best experience I've had at a sporting store. No pressure and lots of listening before making recommendations.
