Might have to wait a bit for table/food. Well worth it. Great for ice cream as well, tons of options to choose from.. If in season, get the strawberry short cake!😍

Busy place with excellent ice cream. Opened at 2 pm on Sunday. Arrived a bit early. Waited for them to open and it was well worth it. I got orange pineapple ice cream, which I'm unable to get in the West. Others got sundaes and all were smooth, creamy and delicious.

The food and ice cream are always fresh, but pretty ordinary. On my latest visit the teen crew was extraordinarily slow on both our food order and our ice cream order. Our party of four ordered a fried chicken salad, meatless nachos, a chicken sandwich and a Coney dog. Thirty minutes seems too long to wait on so-called fast food.

Ivanhoe's food is outstanding, fresh and very tasty. Always a nice friendly atmosphere. Do not let the crowds scare you away, moves very quickly. Employees always clean and friendly. Great place.

We were impressed by the menu selections! Wow! After finally making up our mind, though it took a few minutes it was worth the wait! Now I understand why this place was so very busy! You sure gotta stop in here and try it soon!

I can't speak for the food but the ice cream treats are fantastic. The prices are decent. They don't skimp on toppings and seem to use fresh fruits, etc to make their treats.

The food is good, especially the ice cream, and the prices are reasonable. The problem is the current way they run things is horribly inefficient and they have a hard time keeping up with demand. My wife and I took our young kids out to celebrate my wife's birthday with her family. We ordered our meal which was approx 25 min wait not bad at all. After we ate I went to order ice cream (one sundae), the line was long, but manageable at first glance. While waiting I am observing how things are run, because I have time to kill. There were paper orders all over the counter in a jumbled mess, customers standing in line forever waiting to place their order, customers standing against the back wall waiting forever to pick up their ice cream. There were several times where it would take 5 mins plus and not a single persons order would be called to be picked up. It's a sea of people waiting, and waiting for an absurdly long time. They really need to figure out how to speed things up. I've been coming for years, and I'm glad they are doing so well, but I'm not going to wait over an hour plus for ice cream, no matter how good it may be. After the hour mark it wasn't worth it, there were still several orders ahead of mine that were still in need of being fulfilled. I ended up asking for a refund which they were nice about. Our little ones had waited long enough and they were getting restless/almost time for bed. I will try again someday, but it won't be for awhile. Please figure out a way to cut down on wait times and overall efficiency. Your current setup can't handle the volume of people that frequent this wonderful place.

Order the fried chicken club sandwich, tater tots and cheese to dip them in! Get a vanilla coke and a sundae to complete your dive into diabetes. On the real though, it's a fantastic local gem.

An amazing selection of ice cream sundaes and milk shakes. Beware sizes unless you're REALLY hungry, you probably want a smaller size than you think. This place is an area institution - a MUST visit if you're nearby. I hear they serve food too don't know much about that but given how good the ice cream is, it's probably good too.
