Feels like stepping into a fine New Orleans establishment with dark, comfortable booths and tables and stamped tin ceilings. The staff is warm and friendly, the foods is excellent southern (with some Cali influence) fare. They host live entertainment on weekends and the band was great and eclectic Voodoo Groove, playing blues and funk. The crowd was dancing and digging the vibe, the bar staff were keeping everyone extremely happy.

Service was slow, we waited 40 minutes to order. The food had hardly any flavor at all, it was named after Cajun food, but didn't taste at all like Cajun. Though the gator fries were very delicious!

Always great music and amazing food! Don't pass up this local gem. If you live here or are just visiting for a couple of days this is a must.

Don't take my word for it, just go! Live music, Cajun cusine. The 16 ounce ribeye cooked medium filled my wife and I to the brim along with galic mashed potatoes, and asparagus. OMG good!

This is my favorite Friday/ Saturday night spot in San Clemente! Their selection of creole food and southern cooking is outrageous and the bartenders make very good cocktails. They also feature live blues most nights of the week, a small dance floor, and outstanding service (JC is my favorite). I bring friends and family here whenever they visit - it's never what they expect to find in a small, southern Cali surf town, but they always love it!!

Expect meals to cost $17-35, cocktails $10.

-Also a great place for most major holidays. They will have especially talented musicians and offer prix fixe menus...just make sure you book at least a week in advance.

Good food that is very reasonably priced. Excellent drinks that are a little on the pricey side, though not too bad. A very nice restaurant for a night out with friends. Not good for kids at all. It can get quite noisy and raucous (in a good way) on nights with live music. Very good parking situation.

I had the shrimp and grits, unfortunately the egg was cooked well so it wasn't as good as last time I had it. Music tonight is great if you love jazz like I do.

Nice atmosphere, pretty mellow @ 7:30 for dinner, would be an awesome place to go turn up with a group later.

What a fun atmosphere! Iva Lee's has everything you could want in a local restaurant. Good People. Good Food. Good Service. Good Music.

I love the traditional Southern Shrimp & Grits with a New Orleans Mint Julep!

Lots of fun flavors, cocktails, and specials throughout the week.

My husband and I came to Iva Lee's last Saturday night. Our whole evening was so much fun! The food was amazing. The Crab Cakes with Creole Remoulade was delicious. For dinner, I had the Shrimp n' Grits. To die for. My husband is a big meat eater & he can't stop talking about the Grilled Rib-Eye. I am a big Moscow Mule fan and they had the best I have ever had. They make their own ginger beer and it has a nice spicy kick. Our server Alex was so friendly & knowlegeable about the menu. I don't know how we fit it in, but he highly recommended the Bread Pudding with the Jack Daniels Whisky sauce which was such a treat. After dinner, we ventured into the lounge for another Moscow Mule & a few dances with the Bayou Brothers. So much fun! We will absolutely be back!!!
