It’s Fridayyyy!!! We made it, what a week. Have a good day! #Israelsworld #school #Friday
Israel has been doing amazing 😉 in school, being that he’s been homeschooled til now. In honor of Autism Awareness Month we took custom autism awareness themed cupcakes and goodbags. We also gave each one of his teachers an appreciation gift. Today he came home excited to show his card from his classmates and teachers. I’m glad he’s been treated right and appreciate. This chapter has been many things and awesome is one! Happy Autism 🧩Awareness Month 💚❤️💙💛 #newbeginning #newschool #newfriends #autismawareness #IsraelsWorld #donutstopbeingawesome

How cool is this 🧩❤️💛💚💙
Why does Autism always find a way to make me feel like an awful parent? As sit her thinking and feeling mentally drained from events that may have taken place throughout the day. I slowly breathe in and out as tears form in my eyes with frustration for just wanting it to be me and not my son. My heart race as I continue to cry because I just want to understand. I mean truly understand, not the understanding that comes from reading a book or maybe looking up the symptoms and ...even talking to a medicial specialist with plenty of schooling. No I want to embody the same emotion so I know how to deal with the situation at hand. However thats not possible but the motherly side wishes it so badly. My son often stims and to be honest if you are not familiar it can be a bit overwhelming and very tiresome if I'm being honest. But then the Creator whispers in my ear and the thing you don't like or the thing that cause you this unpleasant feeling is NOT about you! I quickly regroup and then say to myself " how could you be so selfish" and I feel awful for even getting tired or upset about whatever taken place. Autism has done it again it makes me check myself and say how dare you get tired could you imagine the journey your son is on. My son has started stimming frequently which a neurotypical person may find abnormal. When Israel is stimming he makes a loud noise repeatedly. I just thought I would share for any other parent whom child may stim and are not aware what it is and is easy irritated by it. Please do not discourage your child or love one from doing so because it could be more damaging to the individual. Here's a video that explains stimming better! Im learning day by day. My goal as Israel's mother is to provided him with support and unconditional LOVE at all times. #awareness #acceptancenotchange
