Your Child’s ISR Self-Rescue Skills:
What will my infant or child learn?

Infants (6 months- 16 months old) will learn to hold their breath underwater, roll onto their back and float unassisted.

Children (16 months - 6 years old) will learn the following sequence: how to hold their breath underwater; swim with their head down and eyes open; roll onto their back to float, rest, and breath; and roll back over to resume swimming until they reach the side of the pool and can crawl out or be rescued by an adult.

• Lessons are no more than 10 minutes a day, 5 days a week, Monday through Friday. In order to master these self-rescue skills, the enrollment period is between 6 and 8 weeks (30 to 40 lessons) or until self rescue can be maintained.

My 2016 season schedule is tentative for January 19th, April 11th and July 11th. This will all depend upon if I am able to secure an indoor facility in the area. If not, I will be teaching during the Spring/Summer/Fall in my heated outdoor pool. The Spring session will begin as soon as I think the weather will be warm enough. If you like, I can place you on my waiting list to be contacted by email as soon as I am ready to start scheduling students.

I do offer a free Pay-It-Forward Scholarship to qualifying low-income and First responder families. Scholarships are limited and students are chosen based on the highest risk level.
