If there was a way to give NO stars I definitely would. I cannot stand this hospital. I brought my husband up here to the emergency room because he was running a fever of over 101, was throwing up, back aches, stomach aches, etc The first nurse we had was rude, then they changed shifts and we ended up getting a new nurse who was also VERY rude so we ended up just leaving. We went to sick call (I think that’s what it’s called) just to get a stuck up “know it all” guy last name ALMOS (I believe that’s how you spell it) who acted like he knew what he was talking about when CLEARLY he doesnt know anything because he claims fevers are normal?!.. Then when I corrected him on is inaccurate information he asks me did I know anything about the medical field, my response was I in fact did take classes to become a doctor, and He didn’t have anything else to say. He also had the audacity to sit in my face and pretty much tell me that nothing was wrong with my husband because he quote on quote “acts like he’s fine”. First of all my husband is the same person wether he’s sick or not! He does not change. Even when he was running a fever over 101 he was still cracking jokes and smiling trying to make me smile and laugh because he knew I was worried! Everyone handles pain and sickness DIFFERENTLY ! And now the very last straw was coming here just for them to tell my husband his wife can’t go back with him. I DO NOT CARE if it’s a military hospital or not you do NOT tell a spouse that they can’t be with their husband/wife. PERIOD. I don’t know who made that rule but they might want to change that, and FAST because wives like me will not just sit there and except that! On top of everything they still want to make my husband go back to work and I am NOT excepting that period, so I will write a review on EVERYTHING and I will go to every higher up possible to make sure my husband gets the proper time and rest that he needs and deserves to get better ! I wouldn’t refer anyone to come to Kansas let alone come to this hospital. The ONLY doctor here that was awesome and was very nice and very respectful his name was bob in the lab drawing blood And I hope he gets the credit he deserves ! Thank you mr bob for being so kind to me and my husband💕
Really bad services. Went to the ER for a my brother who had a fever of 103 and waited 6 hours to be seen (this was between 9pm and 3am) - apparently the ER was full but there was barely anyone in there and doctors/nurses were wondering around the hospital. then when we got called up to be helped and they took us into a different waiting room and left us there for an hour with no help.
Eventually he got care. It heped but we waited 6+ hours, if it worsened there wouldn't have been anyone in the ER who would have been able to help him.
Honestly I don't think the hospital even knows what happens within it.
Its sad to think that the people we rely on aren't actually there to help us in emergencies
Overall a clean hospital. Dr. Bennett has been really helpful. The er has always gotten us in right away. We've sat in the room for a little while waitng for the doctor, but we were well taken care of. The receptionists at the front desks are usually really nice.
The command team has an out of control employee there who should be immediately terminated. She is a liability who will end up getting the hospital sued, and she is dangerously close to being arrested for her misconduct. I wonder if the command team has a clue about what's really happening at their hospital.
Pharmacy and some lab staff are friendly and fast. Nurses in OBGYN are absolutely inappropriate. I wouldn't want my closest friends to speak to me in the manner they believe fit.
What a joke. I'm out of the army now, have been for going on a year and I'm still dealing with the poor service here. Can't get a copy of my daughter's shot records to save my life. Been trying for months on end. They're withholding it despite me filling out every dd form required and my daughter can't start school because of the lazy mentality they have up there. Take your job more serious like the rest of the army does. It's not like y'all don't sit in a heated and air conditioned building all day. You have it made. Freaking act professional. Do your job like the rest of us.
By far the worse hospital I've ever been seen at. Almost killed me in the ER. Takes forever to get an appointment. Today I was on hold for two hours. Terrible place.
I've made frequent visits here..more than I care for. And every time im treated with respect and everyones nice. But this last visit pissed me off. My son had 101 fevers off and on for most of the day as well as occasional puking. So I decided to take him to the hospital after being told their urgent care is 24/7. I dragged my 4 yr old son and my 6 yr old to the hospital to get my son checked out..all the main driving entrances were closed..figures. so I had to park a bit out of the way and walk up to the hospital. Only took a few minutes, not a big deal. What REALLY pissed me off as I was carrying my 45 pound son, begging my daughter to hold my hand, praying my boy doesn't puke or poop all over me since he recently came over a diarrhea dilemma, was that ALL the doors were locked! ALL OF THEM! I walked around the entire hospital checking every door before I gave up, walked back to my car and drove to junction city to their hospital and hoped the receptionist didn't give me s*** for having tricare (a problem I have with EVERY civilian hospital). Thankfully they didnt. If they say they're going to have "24/7 urgent care " then they need to make it 24/7 with doors unlocked.
I can't begin to explain how angry I am right now. I've been in the er for 2 or 3 hours. I came in because I'm having abdominal pain, severe back pain, headaches to the point I'm dizzy and WANT to puke. My nausea is so bad that I can't even look at food. The doctor told me " our back pain could be from a uti and your abdominal pain could be from a uti". I know for a fact I don't gave a uti. He told me he would persrcibe me Zofran if my current pill for nausea doesn't work. He told me he was going to heck on my urine sample. I've been in he room for almost an hour. I've been waiting for 30 minutes or more to hear anything. AS SOON AS I GO OUT INTO THE LOBBY- THE DOCTOR IS EATING. Keep in my in 8 weeks pregnant and haven't eaten anything since 9 this morning. I am hungry and I just want to be discharged, but I have to wait on the urine sample and im not going too.
WHAT A JOKE! I can't get ahold of anyone to request my records. The receptionist keeps hanging up. I've been transferred to correspondence only to hear them talking in the background & when somebody finally picks up the phone they have to put me on hold to answer a pretty straight forward question.
Retired disabled veteran, just relocated to Junction City, KS and I must say I have not had any issues with IACH to date. Have always had great service and everyone has always been polite. Great service keep up the great work.
