Beautiful camp ground. Very Peaceful. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. So nice to ride to the trails from camp ground or into town. They have rules, but we didn't have an issues following the simple rules. Owner was nice and helpful. Will return again next year.

My Husband, myself, and friends have been camping at this campground for years and really love it. Ann and Ed keep the campgrounds, bathrooms, and showers spotless! This campground is close to ORV trails and kayaking which makes it even better. Their rules are not excessive and are meant to keep the campgrounds safe for everyone. We have never had a problem here, the owners are very sweet and easy to get along with as long as you respect the beautiful campground they've built over the years and keep extremely well maintained.
We will continue to come back here and enjoy the quiet and gorgeous atmosphere Ann and Ed have created.response / report this review -

Very clean and well maintained, great for older adults. Not the atmosphere for us, but that was our fault for not researching more. If all you need is a clean place to sleep for the night, it'd be great for you and is affordable. But if you have small children, you may want to chose something in another town that has kids activities. No cell service or wifi (not the fault of campground) so if you want to go rustic and unplug you'll love it.

Ann Scott, This has become silly. My wife posted a review and besides the retaliatory emails you sent we now have you putting her name out there and refuting her thoughts. Since you are so rule drivenper Google review rules "conflict of interest, if you own or work at a place don't review your own business". Of your 14 reviews, 7 are 1's and 7 are 5's. A little math, take away the fives you keep giving yourself and your actual average score is 2.67. Google guidelines are:
1) Be nice, don't get personalfail.

My family was surprised to find a campground with many available campsites close to trails on short notice. After setting up camp we soon realized availability was due to negative atmosphere created by campground ownership. We did our best to overlook the constant intrusions and nitpicking (see other guest’s reviews) but decided vacation days are too short and the hassle wasn’t worth it.
Pros: Convenient to ORV Trails, Clean Bathrooms, Owners are on-site and strictly monitor campground, Campsites usually available due to poor treatment of guests.
Cons: Owner is intrusive, rude, gossipy and arbitrarily enforces numerous rules (reminds me of dysfunctional HOA). Campground is NOT pet or kid friendly. Pool is small and needs more regular cleaning. No internet service provided.
Owners should review feedback provided by guests/customers and look to improve service rather than refute reviews. Suggest Owner visit other campgrounds for tips on improving customer service.response / report this review -

This is a GREAT place to stay, what ever your pleasure is- trailer or tent. Very clean and the pool is beautiful. There are some rules, that's how to keep a Nice place Nice. Found this spot this spring and have been there a couple times already. Going back again soon. Thanks Ann, you're great! Keep it up.

I have known the owner for many years. She is a very straightforward person. I have personally camped there a few years ago, and it was great. The rules were not excessive, but were enforced, as they should be. What is the sense in having rules if they are not enforced. The rules were made so that everyone camping there could have a good experience, to ensure the safety of the campers, and preserve the natural setting. If you want to have loud, obnoxious parties, and invite a bunch of extra people to use the facilities and resources without paying for their own lot then this is not the campground for you. But if you want to relax, swim, play some yard games, and sit by the fire at night, this is one of the best campgrounds I've ever camped at.

Responding to four recent poststhe campground is kid friendly. Check out other reviews and pictures on the campground webpage. ORV Trails are accessible from the campground. Many riders enjoy the extra parking they have for their ORV/ATV Trailers. The sites are large with full hook-ups. Great place!! Yes, the WIFI was down due to misuse by campers as we only have so much allotted air time with Hughes Net Satellite. Our wood is dryin a week's time the camper only bought one bundle from us and had a campfire most nights camping here a week. We did receive an email from the DNR for campers to leave wood home and buy it where you intend to burn it. I showed them the email. The pool was damaged and the other camper's grandparents were asked about the damage toothey did not take offense when I asked them. No one was accused. Kids were not allowed back in pool until the skimmer door could be replaced for safety reasons. The $40 rate is for 5 people. Another camper was asked to leave the campground and was issued a full refund Tonya Lett did not camp at our campground. The campground is well run per 99% of our campers. Always feel free to call the campground and we will be happy to answer any questions you have regarding the campground reviews. Yes, we do have rulesall buildings are smoke freewhen you disregard you are told about it. Plus the F word does not fly at the campground.

The owner uses a heavy hand to enforce the MANY rules. The park is nice but not fun. We will not be returning.
