3/31/17 Drove all the way from Atlanta to Macon, we did not spot cherry tree blossom like previous years. Leaves are turning green with very few blossoms on trees. Either we missed the peak time or the weather was cold during previous weeks for the trees to blossom. But this is during the week of the Cherry Festival.

It's nice, but they didn't plan disability accommodation well. They need to have an entrance near to the disabled parking area or a bench every 200 feet from the parking lot and have more benches inside park beside the sidewalks opposite to the vendors.

Actually there are alot of parking spaces near to the entrance but they are NOT for disability parking. ???? Why not???? Why let vendors park where the disabled should park???

I live in Macon and I live downtown on cherry st. Well today is the march 19th,Cherry St is empty cause we were informed to move our vehicles or they would be towed. I can't find any info as to what's going on down here on Cherry for our St to be blocked. When I look at the events on the Macon Cherry Blossom website everything starts on the 25th. It's hard enough for us to have parking with Cherry St is opened, so imagine when it's closed, oh the city was hanging up cherry blossom signs on the light poles I mean really to close the street.

I have attended the festival since the beginning with my family and friends, however, I was disappointed this year. I was very disappointed that they charged to go into the park. ..never had that to happen before. Not much diversity in the musical acts. ..Macon has very talented musicians, singers and performers of different race and background. But it was not showcased at all during the festival. And that is not right nor fair. The concept of this festival was about the COMMUNITY ☆..PERHAPS next year it will improve, otherwise I will not attend.
