Many years ago a group of men got together to share their faith and pray together around a campfire. That event grew to what has become one of Ocala’s best-loved gatherings, The Men’s Campfire Breakfast on the Ocklawaha River. At some point along the way someone decided to pass a hat and donate the money to help Interfaith minister to the less fortunate. Today, everyone is invited to attend this annual year-end event for Interfaith.

Although the location has moved a few times, this year’s choice to be at the Ocala Golf Club is an opportunity for more folks to attend without driving out of town. We’ll trade the beauty of Lake Weir at Gator Joe’s for the manicured lawns of the beloved Ocala ‘muni’ course. We’ll still have the campfire burning while we enjoy a beautiful sunrise together to celebrate God and community. It’s time for everyone to come together in the spirit of Christmas and be reminded of what makes this community so special. And, what better way than to celebrate our blessings than to make a donation to Interfaith?

Location: The Ocala Golf Course is located at 3130 East Silver Springs Blvd in Ocala. Parking is available at the clubhouse.

If you can’t attend please consider sending your donation to Interfaith at P.O. Box 992, Ocala, Florida, 34478. There are still so many people in need. Every dollar helps.

Cost/Contribution: There is no charge for breakfast but donations are appreciated. Please consider what you can do to help the ministry of Interfaith. The donation jars will be available.
