It is a really nice library. The staff are always nice and very helpful. They have a wide selection of books from children to adult. They even have manga and comics. They also have DVDs and audio books.

Good library with great movies to borrow, they get the new movie DVDs, and classic movies as well, why rent new movies when you can get them here for free and for 5 nights!

Most of the librarians barring one are somewhat aloof and unhelpful. When one of them set up my card, she didn't bother to set up my online account (so I could view what books I had out, or search the card catalog) or put a piece of tape over the bar-code on my card so that it would not get tattered and unreadable. Luckily when I went back, I got the only helpful librarian and she fixed it.
The "new books" section is very small, but I can't fault them for that if money is tight. I find the online card catalog non-intuitive to use compared to almost every other library I have ever used; browsing around to find new books is nearly impossible. Also, to request books from other PA libraries, you have to fill out a paper slip and hand it in, and you can only request three at a time. I have never had to use such an archaic system at any of the many libraries I have used over the years.response / report this review
